THE IMPERATIVE EL IMPERATIVO

Afirmativa:

Raz del verbo (infinitivo sln to)

Negativa:

Do not (Don")

+ raz del verbo

Go now!
Have a nice day.

Don'f warry.

Do nat rnove!
Come here!
Have a drink.
Help me with this big bag!

dirigindonos.
Jein LIS, Peggy.
Sit down, everybody.
Somebody answer that phone!
Tom, don't rnovc.
C

quejas,
Do sif down.
Do fry and keep quiet.
Do fry fo keep quiet. /Do try and keep quiet.
C ~ m to
e visif uc. / Come and visif us.

D Do se usa incluso con el verbo be (recuerda que no lo hace con ningUn

otro tiempo del verbo to be).
1 para la forma negativa del imperativo.

Don" te lafe!
Don't be silly!
2 para dar enfasis.
Do be nice to Aunt Clara!
Do be here on time!

Oralmente, in ingls, debemos poner el acento en you.
us) + infinitivo sin to.
I-sf'r: :.ii!cly! (iEstudiemos!)
I-cf :.:i17d 3 sulrlt/on/(i Encontremos una solucin!)
I r !'r; revise ilie kesso,i!
L.ef's nol ..;trcrirtl (i No gritemos!)
Ciori'i I ~ i " rfollow tlteri~t(NOles sigamos!)
