GOVERNMENTS SUPPLEMENTAL OPPOSITION TO DEFENDANTS MOTION

TO CONTINUE JURY SELECTION
On November 10, 2014, the United States filed its opposition to the defendants motion to
continue jury selection. See Docket Nos. 32, 33. In further support of its opposition, the
government hereby submits to the Court a letter it received today from one of the defendants
victims, M.F. See Ex. A. The redacted letter is being filed with the victims permission.
For the reasons stated in the attached letter and in the governments initial opposition, the
Court should deny the motion to continue and issue a scheduling order that complies with time
limitations set forth in the Speedy Trial Act.
Respectfully submitted,

Gentlemen, My name is M[.]F[.] and I am one of the victims in the Robert E. Lee case.
I am writing to you today to express my opinion against any type of delay,
continuance, or any cooperation with Mr. Lee due to his medical condition or
otherwise.

Mr. Lee has destroyed the lives of my parents N[.] and E[.] F[.] of Trumbull Ct. My
Father is 83 and my mother is 78 and he has left them with out a penny from 20
years of investing with him.
My situation is not much better as he stole all my funds as well as that of my
wifes/father inlaws money also.

Mr. Lee deserves NOTHING but a trial and I am pleading that you proceed as soon as
possible so we get our day in court against him. If he is asking for a continuance due
to health reasons you should move forward with expediency versus giving him more
time to stall your progress.

If you would like to speak with me I can be reached at the number below.
Thank you,
