Density: 180 kg/m

GENERAL APPLICATION RULES

Store and install in dry condition
Create the bottom angle by cutting of the tongue and using a base
connector strip
Consider expansion joint, once the base strip is joined
Wall 140/180 may not be used on the ground
Without additional actions, a splash water zone of at least 30 cm
above the upper edge of the ground, has to be created
Ensure the impermeability of joints
Smallest size of the boards for the frontage = 40 mm
Smallest size of the boards for the reveal = 20 mm
Joints to bordering buildings have to be driving rain proof and
windproof
Make sure that uneven areas are planned or smoothed before the
beginning of the rendering
Make sure to place the boards with an offset of 25 cm (no cross joints)
Wide back braces have to be steeped 1 mm into the board, while the
screw disc of the insulation screw has to be flushed to the surface of
the board

J oints between the boards of 2 mm are tolerable; joints between the

boards of 2 5 mm have to be closed with adequate materials such
as Schneider joint sealant. Joints of more than 5 mm have to be closed
with stripes of WALL 140/180
Create a flexible or expansion joint once there is a vertical or horizontal
change of the underground
A second tight level should be created under the window bench
During the installation of the end fitting of the window benches use
joint less belt for all joint to WALL 140/180. The end fittings of the
window benches have to absorb the moves of the plaster faade
and the window bench. The use of fittings with sleeve bearings is
recommended.
Begin to apply the render system at least 4 weeks after the installation
of the WALL 140/180, if not, protect the faade with a ventilated cover
Please check the moisture content and the surface stability before the
beginning of the application of the render. Max. humidity 13 %
( = 19.5 % on adjustment spruce/fir)
Protect installed boards from direct humidity
By using injected insulation make sure to insert it before the beginning
of the render application.

Place with an offset of 25 cm

No joint on mouth corners

Installation guide for the timber frame construction

Fixation of the boards with wide back braces or insulation screws

T he WALL 180 is fixed directly on the rafters

Fixation with stainless steel wide back braces such as Haubold or equivalent
Minimal length of the fixation material = size of the board + minimum penetration depth
Minimum penetration depth of the wide back brace 30 mm
Minimum penetration depth of the insulation screw for wooden undergrounds 30 mm
The installation overhead is exclusively possible with WALL 180 with a size of at least 60 mm (height of board) and insulation screws for wooden
undergrounds. In any case do not exceed the dimension between axes of 40 cm by construction of the important supporting substructure.
