As a student of Astrology, while doing the pre mortem of charts ,and predicted
on a particular field of life . whatever, my humble experienced by applying certain
combinations of Radical strength + time factor through dasa/ progression with
particular transit , which I have found more applicable . Those rules I am sharing
with you.
Change in a Career
Basic Rules:

1] consider the nature of person, whether native is ambitious, wants stability, active
in a different field, satisfied, risk taker, speculative. etc.
2] House of karma, i.e 10th house. [ house related profession/service/business/
earning activity.]
3] 7th house related with business and 6 th house related with service.
4] For any change in a career, its indication from the 5th house [ 12th from 6th
(service), 8th from 10th house ] 9th house, [ 12th from 10th house and also it is a
house of Bhagya.]

Change for better prospects :

When time factor [ Dasa / progression ]activate houses , 10th, 6th/7th, with 9 th or
5th or both with 3rd 2nd , 6th and 11th indicate ,Changes will bring good fortune in a
career.

Compulsory change:
When time factor [Dasa/ progression ] activate houses 10th, 6th/7th, with 9th or 5th
or both with 3rd, 8th and 12th .will not shown desired change or out of career for a
time being till its period run.
When time factor [Dasa/progression] activate houses 10th ,6th/7 th, with 9th or 5th
or both with 3rd ,8th 12th and 2nd. One will remains continue in a undesired career
in a compulsion situation.

Transit:
Saturns influences on 10th or 9th houses in transit at the time of an event.

Nature of person:
cardinal cancer sign rising in Ascendant, its lord Moon is in a cardinal and in
fiery sign,
In 10th house, conjunction with status karak & exalted Sun .
Sub lord of Asc , 3rd and 9th are related to dual sign planet Mercury, in a fall sign,
indicates that, native is very ambitious, sensitive , aggressive , hasty and always try
to get something more than present one due to Mercury and Moon.
Career :
Sub lord of 10th is Exalted sun is in 9th house as a lord of 2nd, with Ascendant lord
Moon. Sun is in ketu star in 11th house, in fixed Vrishbha sign, whose lord is
Venus in 8th as a lord of 4th and 11th house ,with Jupiter as a lord of 6th and 9th
house.
1]It indicates that, Native will prefer to join in family business, [Sun Karak of

is preferable for further study ?, that time I had suggested to select short term line

Mars dasa was up to May 2006. Mars is in 11th as a lord of 5th and 10th . [for cancer
ascendant Mars is Yogkarak planet.] it is conjuct with Saturn as a lord of 7th and
8th. [ karak for family business ] . Asepcted by Jupiter from 8th as a lord of 6th and
9th .Mars is in Rahu star , Rahu sub. Which is deposited in 5th house.
As given in basic rules, 10th house [ karma ], 11th [ for fulfill of desire ] 7th [ house
of business ] 8th [ disturbances ] , 5th house [ change in a career ] , 6th house
[service ] 9th [ change in a career ].
Before Mars dasa ,Moon dasa was on, and Moon is a strong significator of 10th
house ,with Sun as discussed above, joined family business after his studies., but as
Mars indicates, 5th , 9th, 6th houses he left the family business and joined service.
Transit:
As discussed in basic rule, that Saturns transit influence on 9th or 10th house lead
some kind of changes in a career either for positive or negative side.
From 2006 to till today 2013 Saturn is transiting from Cancer to Libra. It effects
the 10th or 9th house as follow.
From cancer sign it aspect 10th sign Aries, which is rising on 10th house. Also it
aspects to Moon who is in 10th house ,[Ascedant lord] and Sun [lord of 2nd and
karak for father ] left the family business on dispute ground .
Saturns transit In Leo also affect the Jupiter lord of 9th.
Saturn transit in Virgo also affect the 9th house, and lord of 10th and 5th Mars.
Saturns transit in Libra also affect the 10th house, Moon and Sun [ lord of 1st and
2nd] and transit Saturn aspeted by radical Jupiter [ lord of 9th and 6th ] from 8th
house.
In above discussion , it fulfill all the basic rules for a change in a career as given in
beginning of a article.

Nature of the person:
Earthy element , dual sign Virgo is rising with Jupiter in ascendant. Lord of
ascendant Mercury is in its own sign in 10th house, Mars aspects to Ascendant and
ascendant lord.
Moon also in fiery element dual sign and also in aspect with ascendant lord and
sun.
1st house sub lord Mars, is on 7th cusp, in Mercury star and aspect to ascendant and
ascendant lord Mercury, Jupiter in Ascendant and Sun
3rd sub lord Moon as discussed above and it is in star of ketu which is also in fiery
sign. Moon is closely conjunction with Saturn though in different sign.
9th sub lord, is sun is in 9th house aspected by fiery planet Mars, conjunction with
Asc lord Mercury which is in 10th house, in aspect with Moon who is lord of 11th
house in 3rd.
All above astrological combinations indicates that, the native is very intelligent,
having a habit of to take any work in more than one way, ambitious and also
cautious with his dignity and status.
Career:
Asc lord is in 10th house in Gemini sign, Jupiter finance karak is rising ascendant,

He has started his career as a service as a accountant in company as a full time and
with part time Lic Agent as suggested to him.

From 1999 onwards he was asking, what else he can do for a long time career, he
was not satisfied his service activities. That time it was suggested him to be a full
time agent for LIC. He left the job in May 2001.Started his full time activity as a
agent for LIC. He has not turn back then and move too ahead in his LIC agent
career,. Not only that, but once he reached top highest premium collector in a
financial year. Now days he is a employer and a person is working under him as a
employee.
Dasa :
Till 1999 Dec he was passing through Moon Dasa, which is as said above
conjunction with Saturn, indicates that, he is more safety cautious and Saturn is
also karak for a service and lord of 6th, Saturn is also sub lord of 10th house.
Form 2000 onwards Mars dasa started, which is as said above, lord of 8th house, [
Insurance ], 7th house, [ business ] , star lord is Mercury [ Agent ]. Is in Moon sub
which is lord of 11th house [fulfill of desired ]. 3rd house [ agent ] conjunction
Saturn [ lord of 5th and 6th house ], which is in aspect with Venus [ lord of 9th and
2nd house ].
As suggested in basic rules, 7th house [ business] , 5th and 9th house [ change in a
career ] , 8th house disturbance initially , while change , it becomes a source of
income [ insurance ] not only that Saturn is sublord of 8th also who strongly
signifying 10th house. 11th house [ fulfilled of desire ] all above houses are related
with Mars Dasa.

In may 2001 when he started his full time career as a LIC agent , that time Saturn
was in Vrishbha sign, which is rising on 9th house in a chart ,and, it was in
conjunction with Venus who is lord of 9th and 2nd .

Nature of the person:
Fiery element dual Sagittarius sign rise as a Ascendant sign, its lord Jupiter is
also on the cusp of the 11th in Libra cardinal sign. Ascendant sub lord is Rahu in
earthy sign in 9th house in Mars star, as lord of 4th ,5th and 12th in its own sign
Aries. 3rd sub lord Venus is in 12th with sun and Saturn, Venus is in Ketu star in 3rd
house. 9th sub lord moon is in intercepted sign in Pisces in 3rd house as a lord of
8th, with ketu , Moon is in Saturn star , who is in 12th as a lord of 2nd and 3rd. with
sun and venus. All these factor indicates though , native is ambitious, but due to
lack of concentrate or and some what carelessness and speculative tendency due to
5th, 8th relation along with 6th 2nd and 11th. Hunting Moon position also play main
role here that , native can not come up in life due to restricted environment or
carelessness.
Career:
10th sub lord Mercury is in 11th as a lord of 7th and 9th , is in Saturn star [ karak for
service ] he started his service in a Government financial institute [Saturn with
Sun ( govt ) and Venus ( lord of 6th and 11th ). At the same time he started
investment in Share Market [ as said above related with 5th , 8th house, Mercury is
also karak for speculation ] . Ascendant rising sign is dual, its ruler Jupiter is in
cardinal, and 10th sub lord is Mercury dual and its star lord Saturn is also in dual
sign, indicates that, more than one sources of income.
Dasa
in Mercury dasa Venus sub period he started his career in 1981 , as said above,
both planets are signifying the career as described above.
In 1998 and in 2006 I have warned him , that, due to health ground and
particularly Eyes problem, you may not be able to complete the job in full tenure
.Indicate that, around 2010 and 2011 year ,you may leave the job. Native left the

job in May 2011 due to eye sight problem, he can not see fully as a normal person
and both the eyes are afflicted .

2001 onward native is passing through Venus dasa, who is in 12th as a lord of 6th
and 11th , it is in Ketu star, who is in 3rd house in intercepted sign, with Moon , lord
of 8th .. venus is in conjunction with Sun [ lord of 9 th ]and Saturn . [ lord of 2nd and
3rd ] Dasa lords is in Saturn sub as discussed .
Dasa lord is signifying 6th 8th 12th 9th along with 11th, 2nd and 3rd. eyesight signified
by Sun, Moon and Venus and all are afflicted by Saturn. Venus and Sun are in
conjunction with Saturn in 12 th house [defect ].
Moon is in Saturn star and square with Sun and Saturn [ both are in 12th } thus all
eyesight karak are afflicted by birth, not only that, sub lord of 2nd is Sun and 12th
sub lord is Rahu is also connected with Saturn who is in 12th
Navtive was passing through Jupiter sub period in Venus Mahadasa, when he left
the job on health ground [ eyes problem ]. Jupiter as a ascendant lord on the cusp
of 11th in its own star and in sub of Venus. Sub period ruler Jupiter is in aspect
with Mars as a lord of 5th, 4th and 12th.
In vedic astrology its said that, certain sub period are not giving good result in
certain dasa . those are as under ;
Sun sub period in Saturn dasa, Mercury sub period in Mars Dasa, and Venus sub
period in Jupiter Dasa and vice versa for all above three dasa.
So in this case , I have applied this rule also, while giving the reading of a chart,
because not only rule but houses signifying by dasa lord and sub period rulers ,
for such type of judgement.
Transit :
in 2011 Saturn was transiting through Virgo sign, which is intercepted sign of 9th
house in a chart. He started his career in same transit when Saturn was in Virgo
sign in 9th house.

So what basic principles given here for change in a career , that dasa /sub period
ruler connected to 5th or 9th with saturns transit support to influence 9th or 10th
house
Definitely bring change in a career for a better one, or compulsion to accept the
situation , it depends on the chart strength .
