One reason is peer pressurebelieving in evolution
because so many other people believe it, a selfsustaining cycle of social reinforcement. Another is
never being shown how the same evidence can be
interpreted within a framework that takes the Bible
seriously as revealed historythe Word of the living
God who made all things. That same Bible also teaches
that since Adams fall into sin, people are by nature
biased against God. The Bible also teaches that the
creation was originally very good, and that death,
disease and suffering are ultimately due to Adams sin,
in which we all continue. Belief in evolution (everything
made itself) is the ultimate way to suppress the
truth that all of us know deep downthat nothing as
complex as this universe could ever come into being
without intelligence and planning.
Deciding on whether creation or evolution makes
more sense is one of the most crucial issues there
could possibly be, because it affects your purpose and
destiny. You owe it to yourself to really check out the
evidence from a creation viewpoint, not just to hear
it all pre-digested through the common lenses
of our age.

Dr Keith Wanser is Professor of Physics

at California State University, Fullerton. His
research interests lie in fibre-optic sensing
techniques, experimental and theoretical
condensed matter physics and basic theories
of matter.
Dr Wanser says that people have had phrases like evolution
is fact and everybody knows that the world is old drummed into
them like a mindless mantra. The evidence, he says, is far more
in favour of a recent six-day creation and a global Flood than of an
old earth and evolution. People look at the sort of science that put
man on the moon and they put these big bang theories in the
same basket. Theyre unaware of all the speculation and uncertainty
(even rule-bending) there is in physical theories of origins.

Astronomer

Anatomist

Dr David Menton was for several years

Associate Professor of Anatomy at the
Washington University School of Medicine in St
Louis, Missouri.
Dr Menton is renowned for his talks on
astounding design in the human body, for his
research on bird feathers showing the extreme
difficulties with the idea that they evolved from reptile scales, and for
his refutation of the anatomical claims regarding many of the claimed
ape-man ancestors of mankind.

Molecular biologist
Dr Ian Macreadie is Principal Research
Scientist at the Biomolecular Research Institute
of Australias Commonwealth Scientific and
Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO). He
has won some of his nations leading awards for
research in his field.
Dr Macreadie (who claims no official CSIRO endorsement for
his views on origins) says: All you see in the lab is either gene
duplication, reshuffling of existing genes, or defective genes (with
a loss of information) that might help a bug to survivee.g., by not
binding to an antibiotic as effectively. But you never see any new
information arising within a cell.
Evolution would argue for things improving, whereas
I see everything falling to pieces. Genes being corrupted,
mutations [mistakes as DNA is copied each generation] causing an
increasing community burden of inherited diseases. All things were
well designed initially.

Geophysicist and
continental drift expert
Dr John Baumgardner worked for the renowned
Los Alamos National Laboratories in New Mexico,
USA. He is widely ack nowledged as having
developed the worlds leading three-dimensional
computer model of plate tectonics, the pre-eminent
theory of the earths outer structure.
Dr Baumgardners modelling has shown fascinating indications
that the present arrangement of continents was mainly caused by rapid
breakup of a single land mass. This would have happened according to
known laws of physics. Once started, the entire ocean floor would have
been recycled in a matter of weeks to months, giving rise to worldwide
flooding, as well as super-saturation of the atmosphere and prolonged
rainthe global Flood of the Bible.

Nuclear physicist
Dr D. Russell Humphreys researched thermonuclear
fusion energy for the US government, at the prestigious
Sandia National Laboratories, New Mexico.
Dr Humphreys is well known for his successful
written predictions based on his research on the
earths magnetic field as evidence for a young earth.
These include the discovery of extremely rapid geomagnetic reversals,
and the observed strengths of various planetary magnetic fields, orders
of magnitude different from evolutionary expectations based on belief
in billions-of-years ages for the planets. His book Starlight and Time is
a major attempt to develop a creationist cosmology based on general
relativityone which presents a potential solution to the apparent problem
of light from distant stars in a young universe.

Dr Danny Faulkner, Associate Professor at

the University of South Carolina Lancaster,
teaches physics and astronomy. He has
published about two dozen papers in various
astronomy and astrophysics journals.
Dr Faulkner rejects the popular beliefs in
concepts such as the big bang and billions of years, pointing
out that there are no observations in astronomy that disprove the
Genesis account, and there are some which support a recent
creation of the earth and universe.

Zoologist
Dr Walter Veith was the holder of the Chair
of Zoology at the University of the Western
Cape (Republic of South Africa), and a former
evolutionist and atheist.
Professor Veith became interested in the
Bible after finding out about its many explicit
prophecies which were fulfilled in amazing detail (unlike the vague
prognostications of later seers and soothsayers). He says: In my
own field, I realised that natural selection (a fact, incidentally) does
not increase the number of variants, it decreases them. I ask, How
can a mechanism that makes less and less end up making more and
more? To believe in chance mutations as the source of the new
information required for evolution requires a lot of faith. Its certainly
not something I see in my work as a zoologist.
The aforementioned are only a small sample of the
many qualified scientists who believe in six-day,
Genesis creation.
