1. What is CTLP?
It is the abbreviation for Certified Trade and Logistics Professional Programme initiated
and developed by Dubai Trade.

2. What exactly is CTLP?

It is the regions first comprehensive vocational training program that covers the end to end
process of import and export in the UAE and the region. It's a professional development
certification course that explains in detail the business concepts and processes related to all
stakeholders involved.

3. What are the modules covered in this programme? What is the programme
duration?
We have developed very convenient schedules to run our programme so that they do not
get in the way of your important tasks and duties. You have the option of either Full Time
Programme which runs for 5 days / 8 hours per day from 08:00 AM 04:00 PM or Part
Time Programme which runs for 10 days / 4 hours per day from 04:00 PM 08:00 PM.
Both options are total of (40 hours) of training.
CTLP Programme is divided into 7 modules:
Module 1: The Fundamentals of Importing and Exporting
Module 2: The Export Process
Module 3: The Import Process
Module 4: Transportation- Transhipment, Multi-Modal and Chartering
Module 5: Theory-Freight Forwarders; Logistics and Supply Chain
Module 6: DP World e-Services
Module 7: Dubai Customs e-Services

4. How can I book for this course?

you will then be diverted to the registration form to enter your
information.
Click on confirm order, press the click here to pay (please make

Choose your payment method (credit card, listed banks direct debit),
then click on pay, and you will be directed to the merchant bank.

Note: Seats booking will take place on full advanced payment only.

5. What are the course fees?

The course fee is 3,500/AED including all material provided during the training session
and the final exam.

6. How do I pay for the course enrolment?

There are 2 methods of payment:
A. The most convenient method for you is through our online payment gateway
called Rosoom. You will be able to access this through the Dubai Trade Portal by
clicking here.
B. You can pay manually by cash or cheque by visiting Dubai Trade office at
10th Floor Galleries 4 Downtown Jebel Ali. All cheques should be paid to:
Dubai Trade FZE.

7. When will be the last date for registration?

The registration will be closed a day before the course start date or when all the
seats are booked.

8. Is CTLP an accredited course?

CTLP is a Certification Course initiated and developed by Dubai Trade and
endorsed by The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (CILT).

9. What do I have to do to pass the programme and get the certificate?

All delegates have to attend the training classes and complete all modules (40
hours) and then pass the final examination.

10. What if I failed the examination?

You can apply for a second chance to get your certificate and complete your
programme. For a nominal fee, a delegate is entitled to retake the exam within 30
days from the course start date.
Should there be a need to take further examinations, the delegate has to book for
the exam within 30 days from the date of the last exam.

11. What is the maximum number of exam trails do I have?

There is no maximum number of exam trials, students are allowed to conduct as many exams
as required to pass the course.
