To develop in students the accountability and responsibilities of the external

world succumbed to disasters, pollution to the natural resources available
around him and hence get awareness about the threats, diseases and health
style for effective living through case studies.
Unit One Expose the students to understand the ecosystem and its
constituents, various types, characteristic features, structure and function of
ecosystems and also to understand the methodologies for conserving the
biodiversity.
Unit Two - Expose the students to understand the concepts, mechanism,
types and measures to curtail the air, water, soil, marine, noise, thermal and
nuclear pollutions, thus making each and every individual understand their role
to fight the same.
Unit Three - Expose the students to understand the use, over exploitation of
forest, water, food, mineral, land and energy resources and thus making them
aware of roles in conserving resources.
Unit Four Expose the students to understand the concept of sustainable
development, resettlement, rehabilitation of people and legal acts to protect,
preserve and conserve the same..
Unit Five Provides value based education to the students by making them
aware of population explosion, welfare of women and children and the role of
Information Technology on the same.
