Appointment of Lube Distributor

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited is the 2nd largest lube marketer in the country and the
proud owner of Indias largest Lube Refinery. HPCL attaches great significance to sustainable
growth in this highly competitive lube market. In order to improve its market share, HPCL has
chartered an ambitious growth plan, targeting top line CAGR of over 10% for the next five years.
In addition to the traditional sales channel of Retail Outlets Network and continued focus on B2B
segments, we have also established robust channels of Lube Distributors (for Bazaar Network)
and CFAs (for MSME segment). Similarly, for tapping the growing potential of Rural & Semi
urban markets, we have made aggressive plans of appointing Rural Distributors. The first lot of
such Distributors has already been appointed in Uttar Pradesh & Chattisgarh.
HPCL today boasts of strong brands like HP Milcy TurboTech, HP Milcy Turbo, HP Racer4, HP
Laal Ghoda and HP Gear Drive. Along with this, HPCL has been entering into strategic
partnerships for lubes sales with major Original Engine Manufacturers (OEMs) like Tata Motors,
Bajaj Auto, Force Motors, L&T Komatsu, BOSCH, JCB, John Deere, TAFE Motors & Tractors
(formerly Eicher) etc. HPCL also gives priority to launch of niche products, quality
improvements, and innovative packaging and product promotions.
LUBE DISTRIBUTORS:
HPCL wishes to appoint Lube Distributor (LD) for selling its Automotive Lubricants in the Bazaar
Markets at the locations mentioned below :

GENERAL GUIDELINES APPLICABLE FOR LDs:
Applicant can be an Individual or a Partnership Firm or a Co-operative Society.
ELIGIBILITY: You should be / have:
1. Indian by nationality.
2. Basic business acumen for understanding and managing a distribution business.
3. Professional Experience of managing a sales team.

4. Professional Experience of managing a Distribution Network in the field of Lubricants /

FMCG / Tyres / Batteries / Paints / Auto Spares or any other related business.
5. Strong financial background and ability to raise a minimum of Rs. 50 Lakhs for Lube
Distributorship as working capital on continuous basis.
6. Good infrastructure: Office & Godown at a prominent place close to Lube Markets.
7. Minimum pass in matriculation / SSC or recognized equivalent (in case of individual or
partnership applicants). Preference will be given to graduates.
8. Not less than 21 and not more than 60 years of age as on the date of the application.
Notes:
Candidate should not have any criminal record.
In case you belong to a Partnership firm, each partner should individually meet
the eligibility criteria and submit separate application form giving cross reference
of the partners application form number/s.
Registered Cooperative Societies without any criminal record can also apply. For
these applicants, the eligibility criteria regarding age and educational
qualifications are not applicable.

Applications should be made on the prescribed form available on payment of non-refundable fee
of Rs. 500/- (Rupees Five Hundred only) by a crossed / account payee Demand draft drawn on
any scheduled bank in favour of HINDUSTAN PETROLEUM CORPORATION LIMITED (payable at
Visakhapatnam ) either personally or by making a written request to at the address given below.
