America, destroying the World Trade Center and seriously damaging the Pentagon in
Washington, DC. Thousands of people die in the attacks, one of whom is a firefighter
whose firefighters axe will become a treasured family heirloom, eventually coming
into the possession of Domenica Corsi. Shaun Christopher was prevented from
boarding one of the planes which crashed into the World Trade Center by Gary Seven.
As a result, he survived to command the first manned mission to Saturn aboard USS
Lewis & Clark in 2020, a pivotal event in the history of human space travel.

Nomad, Humanitys first true interstellar probe, designed by Jackson Roykirk, is
launched by NASA.
In 2153, the only map of early 21st century Detroit in the database of the NX-01

On January 29th, US President George W. Bush gives his State of the Union Address.
He speaks about his plans to remove Iraqs leader Saddam Hussein from power,
introducing hydrogen cars, abortion and fighting AIDS in Africa. A contemporary

Lieutenant McMillan was scheduled in 1999 to be the co-pilot on a joint mission
between NASA and the Europeans for a four month tour on the International Space
Station that began in 2003.

Loomis, a worker at a blood donor clinic in Detroit, abducts people for a group of
Xindi-Reptilians who have travelled from the 22nd century to secretly develop a
bioweapon to wipe out Humanity. Captain Jonathan Archer and TPol, also from the
22nd century, manage to stop the Xindi before the weapon is completed. Loomis is
arrested by local law enforcement.
A Thalassa colony is destroyed by the combined forces of earthquakes and the

but this as had no noticeable effect on curbing the civil unrest. A contemporary in the
United States remarked that Europe is falling apart.
Buck Bokai plays his second season of baseball with Seibu. During this year, he is
considered the first Solar system-wide batting champion.
August 30th September 3rd: A transporter accident sends Starfleet officers Benjamin
Sisko, Julian Bashir and Jadzia Dax to the San Francisco of this year. Sisko and Bashir
are taken to the citys Sanctuary District A, where Gabriel Bell is accidentally killed
because of their presence. Sisko saves history by taking Bells role in the later-named
eponymous Bell Riots, resulting in his photo being implemented as Bells image in all
future Starfleet records.

Buck Bokai once again begins playing with the London Kings. He is also again
awarded the title of Solar System-wide batting champion. He misses breaking Joe

World War III begins over the issue of genetic engineering and Human genome
enhancement. Among the major players of the war is Colonel Phillip Green, whose
actions led to some 37 million deaths.

 According to a historical library computer file seen in ENT: In a Mirror, Darkly,

Part II, Zefram Cochrane was born on Earth this year. However, according to TOS:
Metamorphosis, Cochrane was 87 years old when he arrived to the Companions
homeworld. According to ENT: Broken Bow, Cochrane was still on Earth in 2119,
suggesting he was actually born later in the 2030s.
According to Star Trek: Star Charts, on page 38, Ares I launches from Earth. This
mission successfully lands humans on Mars.

An international effort over the last few years successfully diverts some asteroid
fragments from striking the Earth. The fragments are eventually diverted to Earths L5 point and hollowed out to create six ONeill-style space habitats.

July 23rd: The Earth spaceship ESS Charybdis, commanded by Colonel Stephen G.
Richey, is launched as the third attempt to explore beyond the Sol system.
The Enterprise NX-01 from an alternate timeline emerges from a subspace corridor
from the year 2154. So far back in time, the ship can do nothing but wait in the
Delphic Expanse for a chance to find and destroy the first Xindi superweapon. The
ship becomes a generational ship, trading for provisions and taking on alien crew to
survive. By the time this NX-01 met up with the present day Enterprise, TPol was the
only remaining original crew member still living.

Miles OBrien and Kira Nerys briefly appear in San Francisco while attempting to
locate the timeframe that Benjamin Sisko, Jadzia Dax and Julian Bashir materialized
in. The version of 2048 they encountered was one of an alternate timeline in which the
Bell Riots never occured, as OBrien noted that it was not the mid-21st century that
[he] had read about in school. He added that Earth history had its rough patches,
but never that rough.

Coalition, or ECON.

Vulcan ambassador VLar begins her diplomatic career.
9th August: In conjunction with Zefram Cochrane at Earth Station Bozeman, the six
L-5 colonies (Vanguard Colony, Colony Roykirk, the Moss-Offenhouse colony, the
NicholCorp facility, the Brynner Asteroid and the Starling Habitat) take part in an
experiment to create a stable subspace field. The experiment goes horribly wrong and
all six habitats vanish. Among the roughly 2000 people missing and presumed dead is
Christopher Brynner of Brynner Information Systems, who had moved to the lowergravity Brynner Asteroid complex for health reasons.
In fact the Vanguard colony was not destroyed but was flung some 200 light years
from Earth, with 827 out of 844 inhabitants surviving. About a month after the
accident the Vanguard is boarded by Nausicaan raiders. The tuskers kill 252 before
they are driven off.

Lily Sloane begins gathering titanium for the four meter cockpit of the Phoenix six
months before First Contact on April 5th, 2063.
Oldtown San Francisco experiences an enormous earthquake. Due to hard times all
around from the nuclear strikes and wartime turmoil of the past decade, it will take 20
years for the city to be restored.

4th April: A Borg sphere appears in orbit of Earth and attacks Bozeman, Montana,
from orbit in attempt to kill Zefram Cochrane and prevent First Contact between Earth
and Vulcan. The sphere is destroyed by the USS Enterprise-E, which pursued the
sphere from the year 2373. Borg drones beam aboard the Enterprise and attempt to
assimilate the ship, but are thwarted by Captain Jean-Luc Picard and Lt. Cmdr. Data.
Meanwhile, Enterprise personnel aid in the repair of the Phoenix, Cochranes ship,
and convince Cochrane to go ahead with his historic first demonstration of warp drive.
The influence of the future goes unrecorded in history.
5th April: Zefram Cochrane launches the Phoenix, mankinds first manned warpcapable ship, from Bozeman, Montana with Commander William Riker and Lt.
Commander Geordi LaForge as passengers from the Enterprise-E. Its brief warp flight
is detected by a Vulcan survey ship, the TPlana-Hath, passing through the local
sector, and the ship changes course to investigate. This leads to the historic First
Contact between Humans and extraterrestrial life (of public record, as earlier
unofficial and unbeknownst contacts had been made).
Debris from the Borg sphere, destroyed by the Enterprise-E, impacts on Earth near the
North Pole. The debris remained undiscovered until 2153.

On Earth, Zefram Cochrane mentions details about First Contact with the Vulcans on
April 5th, 2063 in a commencement address at Princeton University, revealing what
really happened during the events leading up to First Contact. He claimed that it
involved a group of cybernetic creatures from the future who attempted to prevent
the successful warp flight of the Phoenix and whose ultimate goal was the
enslavement of humanity. According to Cochrane, they were defeated by a group of
Humans who were also from the future and who had seemingly followed them back
through time. However, his remarks were largely shrugged off by his audience given
his tendency toward imaginative stories and intoxication and Cochrane recanted his
own statements several years later.

the far side of the galactic barrier. Proximity to the barrier causes the survivors to

proportions as an invincible warrior.
o Enterprise makes first contact with the Kreetassans, which ends in a
misunderstanding. During their departure a symbiotic lifeform attaches to
Enterprise. It captures and assimilates four of the crew (Archer, Tucker,
Rostov and Kelly) but eventually it is transported to its homeworld.

o On its way to Risa, Enterprise is ordered to retrieve Vulcan Ambassador VLar,
who stands accused of criminal misconduct, from the planet Mazar. Enterprise
becomes the first Earth starship to reach the speed of warp 5 while fleeing
from Mazarite vessels.
o Enterprise picks up a distress call from an alien craft. After the rescue and
repairs, Zobral invites Archer and Tucker for a meal in the desert of Cygniai
Expanse. In the process he requests their assitance with the war against the
Torothans. In the process the Torothans attack the encampment. Archer and
Tucker are lost in the desert before being rescued by a shuttlepod.
o Enterprise arrives to Risa and some of her crew members take a shore leave.
Archer is approached by an attractive Tandaran agent, Keyla; Tucker and Reed
are robbed; Sato flirts with an alien man.

o The mining colony on Paraagan II is destroyed by the Suliban Cabal in an
effort to frame the crew of Enterprise and discredit their mission.
o Enterprise visits Tessik Prime. Crewman Fisher came down with a case of
Rigelian fever, necessitating the inoculation of the entire crew by Doctor Phlox
with a vaccine containing millions of genetically-altered microbes.

o The first known contact between vessels representing Earth and the Romulan
Star Empire occurs. Visual contact between crews is not made.
o After the damage inflicted by the Romulan minefield, Enterprise visits a
mysterious automated repair station. During the repairs, Travis Mayweather is
abducted.
o Enterprise visits Kreetassa in a failed attempt to trade plasma injectors only to
end in an other misunderstanding because Porthos, Captain Archers dog,
watered their Alvera trees. Archer eventually proceeds with a long and
ritualistic apology, which is accepted.
o Being in need of deuterium, the crew of the Enterprise helps some alien
mining colonists how to defend themselves against Klingon harassers.
o On Pernaia Prime, Archer helps TPol apprehend Menos, a Vulcan fugitive.
o Enterprise visits a pre-warp planet. Reed loses his communicator, which
causes him and Archer to be arrested as spies of The Alliance. To avoid
cultural contamination, they play along until a cloaked Suliban cell ship,
piloted by Tucker, rescues them.
August
o Enterprise approaches a trinary system housing a Class IV black hole for
observations. The radiation affects the behaviour of the crew except TPol.
When all the crew is unconscious, she revives Archer and together they pilot
the ship outside the stellar influence. However Reeds earlier obsession with
the ships security results in a system which becomes standard procedure in the
ship as tactical alert.
September
o Enterprise answers a distress call from a Retellian cargo ship, Tucker goes to
help with the repairs but uncovers the abduction of Kaitaama, the First
Monarch of Krios Prime. The two end up on a planet until rescued by the crew
of the Enterprise. Eventually (September 12th) a Kriosian battle cruiser
transports Kaitaama back to her planet.
o (18th) The crew of the Enterprise attempts to visit an unexplored planet with a
group of stranded Takrets warn them about a perilious neutronic wave front.
The crew retires to the safety of the ships reinforced catwalk while members
of the Takret Militia board the ship looking for the fugitives.
o While testing a prototype auto-pilot, Tuckers shuttle is downed by an
Arkonian pilot on one of a gas giants 62 moons. Both men try to fix their
respective ships, stalled by the aliens distrust and hostile nature. Enterprises
search efforts are further hampered by the selenium isotope on the moons
atmospheres, but eventually Tucker manages to use the aliens transceiver.
o Interspecies Medical Exchange conference on Dekendi III. Feezal Phlox comes
on board Enterprise and reunites with her husband; she helps Tucker install a
neutron microscope. TPols suffering from Panar Syndrome is revealed and
Archer tries to secure her position on the ship.
o With the help of Archer as a mediator between the Andorians and Vulcans,
Ambassador Soval and Commander Shran agree on a cease fire between the
Vulcans and Andorians on Paan Mokar. Enterprise under Tucker stops an
orbital conflict between the two forces. Shran and Soval end their negotiations
in positive mood, setting the stage for future generations.
October-December

o Enterprise finds a small craft from the future adrift in space, and both the
Suliban and the mysterious Tholians are intent on retrieving it. First contact
between an Earth vessel and the Tholian Assembly occurs.
o Captain Archer and Commander Tucker visit Keto-Enol, and have a successful
first contact with the Enolians. On their way out, they are arrested for what the
Enolian Guard thought was contraband. On their way to Canamar on an
Enolian transport, Kuroda hijacks the ship. With the help of an official,
Enterprise finds the transport and rescues the crew.
o Enterprise is apprehended by the Wisp ship. The Wisps attempt to take over
her crew and continue their existence. Dr. Phlox, advised by TPol, floods the
ship with CO2 and frees all the crew of the Wisps influence. Enterprise
quickly pulls away from their ship and destroys it by firing two spatial
torpedoes into the interior.
o Jonathan Archer is convicted in a Klingon tribunal of assisting ArinSen
renegades fleeing from Raatooras. He is incarcerated in imprisonment on Rura
Penthe but flees. Relationships between the Klingon Empire and Earth
continue to deteriorate.
Other Earth first contacts this year include the Arkonians, the Kriosians, the
Kreetassans, the Retellians, the Risians, Wisps and the Takret.

The construction of the second NX-class starship,
Columbia, begins.

o Enterprise makes a detour to gather scientific
data on a planet that recently shifted orbit to
relocate between two gas giants and where
there is a lot of volcanic activity to be
expected. Travis Mayweather asks for a leave to visit ECS Horizon. The cargo
ship is attacked by pirates.
o The Enterprise rescues three Denobulan scientists of the Denobulan Science
Academy from the caves of Xantoras; meanwhile the Enterprise aids a ship
which has problems with a reactor leak above the planet.
o The Enterprise makes first contact with the Vissians when they both study a
supergiant. Relations are tainted by Trip Tuckers interest in one cogenitor in
the Vissian starship.
March
o The wreckage of a Borg sphere is discovered at the North Pole on Earth having
been buried there for 90 years. The surviving Borg manage to steal a transport
and escape Earth before they are intercepted. Enterprise catches up with them
and manages to destroy the Borg-assimilated transport, but the Borg manage to
send a subspace signal to the Delta Quadrant that will take 200 years to arrive.
o Archer and TPol study the Robinson Nebula, as they name it, composed of
dark matter.
o The Enterprise explores an uninhabited planet on which Phlox and TPol are
contaminated. Archer is captured by Skaalar who intends to give him back to
the Klingons. However in the process he helps him escape and return to the
Enterprise.
o The war between the various Triannon factions comes to an end with the
destruction of the surface of the planet.

o An alternate timeline Enterprise commanded by Lorian attempts to stop the

Xindi weapon from attacking Earth in the Delphic Expanse. The weapons are
ineffective against the probe and Lorian has no choice but to set a collision
course. His emotions take over and by the time he realizes his mistake, the
probe had gone.
o Earth is attacked by the Xindi probe from the Delphic Expanse. The attack
decimates a large area between Florida and Venezuela, killing seven million
people.
April
o Enterprise begins its search for the Xindi weapon in the Delphic Expanse.
October
o In an alternate timeline, Enterprise captain Jonathan Archers brain is infected
by interspatial parasites, causing him to contract anterograde amnesia.
o Enterprise discoveres a group of Humans, abducted in the 19th century from
Earths Wild West by the Skagaran race, and brought to the Delphic Expanse.
o TPol secretly begins to inject herself with Trellium.

o The Xindi-Reptilian scientist Damron travels to Earth in the year 2004 in an
attempt to wipe out the Humans, though he is foiled by the intervention of
Daniels.
Other first contacts made by Earth this year include the Antarans, the Osaarians, the
Sphere Builders, and the Vissians.

o En route to Azati Prime, the Enterprise NX-01
discovers a derelict Xindi-Insectoid ship on the surface
of an uninhabited planet and apprehend a XindiInsectoid shuttlecraft. They discover a hatchery; one of
the tendrils attached to one of the Insectoid eggs squirts
Jonathan Archer with a mild neurotoxin which makes
him obsessive about their protection. He authorizes
MACOs until Tucker, Reed and TPol resume
command.
o The Enterprise arrives to Azati Prime and thanks to the shuttlecraft, they
inspect the installation. Jonathan Archer decides to sabotage the Xindi weapon
but is apprehended. In the process he gains Degras trust. The Enterprise is
heavily damaged in the Battle of Azati Prime where about 18 hands are lost.
However the attack is recalled by the Xindi-Primates.
o As the crew of the Enterprise repairs the ship, Archer is delivered by the
Xindi-Aquatics in an escape pod. After he is recovered, Hoshi Sato discoveres
a hidden message by Degra in the pod inviting him to a meeting in three days.
Being unable to arrive in time, Archer decides to pirate an Illyrian starship to
steal the primary warp coil.
o The crew holds a memorial for their dead shipmates. Enterprise arrives at a
Delphic Expanse sphere, where it meets Degras ship. Archer briefs Degra
about what he knows about the Delphic Expanse and the Sphere Builders who
are planning an invasion. Degra and Jannar offer to stop the launch of the
weapon if Archer can prove that the Xindi have been manipulated. After
revealing about the Xindi bioweapon and other discoveries, Degra invites

Archer to meet the Xindi Council to share his knowledge. A Xindi-Reptilian

warship arrives at the sphere, but is shot and finished off by Degra.
o On her way to the Xindi Council planet, the Enterprise meets herself from an
alternate timeline generated by the subspace corridor she was prepared to
follow. The crew of the two versions of the ship disagree on the proper way to
pass through the Kovaalan Nebula. TPol was unable to achieve more than 86%
reduction of the particle wake with the impulse manifold modifications but her
elder version shows where to place an isomagnetic collector (a piece of Ikaaran
technology) to reduce any residual particles. Lorians Enterprise helps
Archers Enterprise to pass the corridor however she doesnt emerge to the
other side. The Enterprise meets with Degra.
February
o Corporal F. Hawkins is killed while defending Malcolm Reed and TPol on a
sphere.
o Major J. Hayes is killed on February 13th of this year.
o The Xindi weapon is destroyed by Jonathan Archer and his crew as it
approached Earth, thereby blighting the plan of the Sphere Builders to
annihilate Humanity and to prevent the Federation from forming in 2161.
o In an alternate timeline, Earth is destroyed by the Xindi, who then proceed to
wipe out most of the rest of Humanity.
o After the intervention of Enterprise in an alternate 1944, the Temporal Cold
War ostensibly comes to an end.
o Enterprise finally returns to Earth after the conclusion of the Xindi incident.

o Two unarmed Augments single-handedly hijack a Klingon Bird-of-Prey and
kill its crew, setting in motion the events that will alter Klingon physiology for

o Administrator VLas of the Vulcan High Command, while taking Romulan
advice, orchestrates the bombing of the United Earth embassy on Vulcan to

The High Command also attempts to assault Andoria, to destabilize the region,
but when the Syrrannites recover the KirShara, a relic containing the original
writings of Surak, the High Command is forced to disband.
o Enterprise travels to the Barrens, where the inventor of the transporter, Emory
Erickson, tries to search for his lost son.
o The Organians observe the crew of Enterprise react to an infection on board.

o The Romulans continue their attempts to destabilize Earths region of space. A
Romulan drone-ship attacks Andorian and Tellarite travelers to a planned
peace conference on Babel. Other ships attacked include a Rigelian ship. A
Human, Vulcan, Andorian and Tellarite alliance is formed to help the species
work together to locate the drone ship and lead to talks on board Enteprise.
o The Columbia NX-02 is launched from drydock.
o Enterprise doctor Phlox is kidnapped and forced to help the Klingons discover
a cure for a virus spreading through the Empire.

The xenophobic Terra Prime movement, under the leadership of John Frederick
Paxton, attemps to expel all non-humans from the Sol system by commandeering the
verteron array on Mars. Their plan was foiled by the crew of the starship Enterprise.
Talks about the formation of a Coalition of Planets take place on Earth. Participating
representatives include Humans, Vulcans, Andorians, Tellarites, Rigelians,
Denobulans and Coridanites.
Decontamination of Cold Station 12 is completed.
In the mirror universe, the ISS Enterprise travels into Tholian space in search for a
Terran vessel the Constitution-class USS Defiant from the prime-universe 23rd

Hoshi Sato declares herself Empress of the Terran Empire after seizing control of the

the Metrons, who became impressed with humanity when Captain James T. Kirk
showed mercy and spared the life of a Gorn captain after the Metrons had set up an
arena style conflict between the two of them.
Helmsman Hikaru Sulus command console exploded in his face aboard the USS
Enterprise and Doctor Leonard McCoy accidentally gave himself an overdose of
cordrazine which, although not generally revealed, nearly led him to change history
erasing the Federation and Starfleet from existence.
The SS Botany Bay was discovered by the USS Enterprise in the Mutara sector after
drifting in space for 271 years.
The USS Enterprise uncovered the truth behind thhe disappearance of the starship
Archon that had been lost 100 years earlier, when it visited the planet Beta III. The
Enterprise was responsible for the destruction of the computer known as Landru
which had ruled Beta III as a despot for 6,000 years. The ship left behind its
sociologist Lindstrom and a team of specialists to restore that planets culture to a
more human form.
The Treaty of Organia was signed by the Klingon Empire and the United Federation
of Planets, thereby preventing a destructive conflict between the two powers and
paving the was for further approaches.
Although not generally revealed, the USS Enterprise discovered warp drive inventor
Zefram Cochrane, long believed dead, alive on a remote planetoid in the Gamma
Canaris region.
Neural parasites invaded the Deneva colony. Kirk and the crew of the USS Enterprise
discovered their weakness and destroyed them, ending the spread of mass insanity.
The population of the Federation experimental colony on planet Gamma Hydra IV
was killed from rapid aging caused by radiation from a rogue comet. The USS
Enterprise landing party, sent to investiage, also suffered from the rapid aging, except
for Ensign Chekov, including the ships four senior officers and which resulted in the
death of a science division lieutenant. Fortunately Kirk, Spock, Dr. McCoy and Chief
Engineer Lieutenant Commander Montgomery Scott were cured of the rapid aging
when McCoy, with the help of Spock, Nurse Christine Chapel and Dr. Janet Wallace,
discovered an adrenaline based cure.
A transporter accident brought four USS Enterprise personnel from the primary
universe to the mirror universe. The primary Kirk encouraged the mirror Spock to start
a revolution against the Terran Empire. This eventually led to the conquest of that
Empire by the Klingon-Cardassian Alliance in the late 23rd century.

John Gill, was shot and killed on the planet Ekos by Melakon after Gill denounced his
own idea of a Nazi regime set up on Ekos as well as their battle against the planet
Zeon and the subjugation and extermination of Zeons population on a star system
wide television broadcast. Melakon was in turn shot and killed by Zeon Isak.
Thereafter, Isak, Ekosians Daras and Eneg agree to end the violence and set Ekos on a
more humane path.
Kirk oversees a landing party on Argus X in order to search for the Dikironium cloud
creature. This expedition was helped by Ensign Garrovick and security officers
Bardoli and Bensen.
A brief alliance between the Klingon Empire and the Romulan Star Empire occurred.

species could express love and compassion.

Dr. McCoy contracted the rare illness xenopolycythemia but was a short-time later
cured via the Fabrinis vast database.

Fabrini originally intended.

he and his crew contracted the auroral plague.
McCoy found a cure for the auroral plague via blood samples of the USS Enterprise
crew, which allowed Kirk to lift General Order 6.

 After the testimony of defense witness for McCoy, Kol-Tai, it was discovered that the
auroral plague was caused by radiation; McCoy was exonerated and was lauded as a
hero not only for saving the lives on Dramia II, but also his own crewmates.
Orion neutrality comes to an end after an act of piracy. After the freighter USS Huron
was attacked and looted, the USS Enterprise capture the Orion vessel responsible.
After a mild outbreak of choriocytosis aboard the USS Enterprise, the only seriously
ill crewmember, Commander Spock, is saved from near death by a shipment of
strobolin which was briefly stolen by Orions.
Kirk ordered a Federation quarantine of the planet Delta Theta III under Starfleet
General Order 1 to maintain the Prime Directive of non-interference in the
development of that planets society and culture.
Near the beginning of this year, James T. Kirks five-year mission ends. Kirk is
promoted to Admiral and becomes Chief of Starfleet Operations. Spock retires from
Starfleet and returns to Vulcan to undergo kolinahr. Leonard McCoy also retires from

 An alien probe, dubbed the Whale Probe, disables Starfleet and Klingon ships, and
causes serious damage to Earths atmosphere. It is discovered that the probe was sent
to contact the species Megaptera novaeangliae or humpback whale, which had,
however, been hunted to extinction in the 21st century. Admiral James T. Kirk is able
to retrieve two members of the species from the year 1986, and avert further
catastrophe. The probe leaves Federation space, and the disabled ships are restored.
Due to the Whale Probe threat, Earth enters a state of emergency, a state that would
not be utilized again until the Borg threat of 2366/67.
After spending three months in exile on Vulcan, James T. Kirk and his crew are put on
trial for their actions during the Genesis incident. All charges but one are dismissed,
and Kirk is demoted to the rank of captain in punishment for the remaining charge.
The USS Enterprise-A is launched under the command of Captain James Tiberius
Kirk.
Butler, Kirks dog, dies.
On Acamar III, the Tralesta clan is almost exterminated by their arch-enemies from

colony. At time time, Curzon Dax was representing the Federation, while Kang
represented the Klingons.

Hikaru Sulu is promoted to captain, and given command of USS Excelsior, for a threeyear mission charting gaseous anomalies in the Beta Quadrant.
Three Klingon battle cruisers, commanded by Kor, Koloth and Kang, are dispatched
to apprehend the Albino. The raid is successful in breaking up most of the Albinos
power base, but they fail to capture the Albino himself. In revenge, the Albino infects
each of the three captains firstborn sons with a genetic virus that will slowly kill the
children.
The Klingon battle cruiser IKS TOng is sent by the Klingon High Command on a
high priority mission. For this mission, the crew is placed into cryogenic stasis.

accomplished by making a very short warp jump, is dubbed the Picard Maneuver.

an asteroid in the Devolin system. Following the Judge Advocate Generals inquiry

that had just suffered from a radiation disaster. While there, the Kims visited a hospital,
and Harry wandered off by himself to an area where he wasnt supposed to be. In this
area, he saw many sick and dying, including a little girl on an operating table. As he
watched, the doctor called for a scalpel, and the little girl looked at Harry, her face
filled with fear.
Harry Kim contracts the Mendakan pox.
In the Delta Quadrant, the Think Tank group recruits an unnamed person into their
number. They would not attempt to do so again until 2375, when they extended the
offer to Seven of Nine.

support chair.
In a small village on Bajor, Hovath becomes the undergraduate of the Sirah in order to
succeed him.
Li Nalas, a Bajoran Resistance fighter and former Terok Nor miner, is captured by the
Cardassians and presumed dead. He spends the next ten years at the Hutet labour
camp on Cardassia IV.
Alixus deliberately arranges for the SS Santa Maria to be stranded on a planet in the
Orellius system, in order to establish her own technology-free colony.
Gul Dukat is assigned command of Terok Nor.
Mekor, the son of Dukat, is born.
In the Delta Quadrant, the wife of Caylem, a member of the Alsaurian resistance
against the Mokra Order, dies in prison.
Vreenak becomes a key member of the Romulan Senate.

Lewis Zimmerman is assigned to the Holo-Programmic Centre on Jupiter Station. He
begins developing what he refers to as a Holo-Doc: a holographic doctor intended to
assist in medical emergencies.
The USS Potemkin attempts to contact the failed Federation colony on Turkana IV.
They are warned that anyone beaming down to the planet will be killed.
The Potemkin sends down an away team, led by Lieutenant William T. Riker to
evacuate a research station on Nervala IV. Due to atmospheric distortion, the
Potemkin transporter chief attempts to use two confinement beams to transport
Lieutenant Riker, the last one on the planet. Although the first confinement beam
works and a Riker is beamed aboard, the second beam is unknowingly reflected back
to the planet, creating another William T. Riker. The second Riker would later be
discovered by the crew of the USS Enterprise in 2369.
Lieutenant William T. Riker is promoted to lieutenant commander for exceptional
valor during the evacuation of the research station on Nervala IV.
Dr. Dalen Quaice is assigned to Starbase 133. He moves there with his significant
other, Patricia.
Roana and her husband, both Bajoran entrepreneurs, open up a store on the
Promenade of Terok Nor, after closing down their shop on Bajor after 17 years.
Botanists Kevin and Rishon Uxbridge move from New Martim Vaz on Earth to the
Federation colony Delta Rana IV.
The father of Jeremy Aster dies from a Rushton infection.
Vash is hired as the personal assistant to Dr. Samuel Estragon, a scientist devoted to
finding the legendary Tox Uthat.

Obsidian Order operative Iliana Ghemor volunteers for an undercover assignment on
Bajor. She is surgically altered to appear as a Bajoran and infiltrate the Resistance.

The Shakaar resistance cell, including a young Kira Nerys, spends the entire winter
hiding in the Dahkur Hills from Cardassian sensor sweeps.

 William Riker and Deanna Troi meet for the first time on Betazed whilst he is
stationed there as a lieutenant.
Seven of Nine emerges from a Borg maturation chamber, having been assimilated five
years before.

The Setlik massacre takes place. A soldier, Miles OBrien kills a Cardassian during
the massacre. He later operates a field transporter for the first time and saves 13 men.
During these events, several prisoners, including Raymond Boone, are taken by the
Cardassians. OBrien is declared the Hero of Setlik III after leading a group of two
dozen men against a Cardassian regiment at the Barrica encampment. As a
consequence of his actions, OBrien is transferred to the operations division and is
promoted to tactical officer.
Under the command of Captain Blackwood, the USS Tombaugh is attacked and
assimilated by the Borg. Amongst the crew is Ensign Stone, fresh out of the Academy.
Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards (orbiting Mars)
o Warp engine control systems are installed on the USS Enterprise-D.
o Ensign Marla Finn begins a romantic relationship with Walter Pierce. She soon
begins an affair with William Hodges and both are killed by a jealous Pierce in
a plasma explosion. Afterward, Pierce vapourizes himself in the Enterprises
plasma stream. His Betazoid empathic trace is inadvertently left in the nacelle
tube bulkhead.
o Stardate 40987.2: Starfleet reports Marla E. Finn and William Hodges are
missing.
o Stardate 40999.4: The OSHC investigation into Finns disappearance is
terminated with no result.
Stardate 40164.7: The USS Victory investigates the mysterious disappearance of 49
people on the Tarchannen III outpost. Ensign Geordi LaForge is involved in the away
team.
The last Klingon raid into Federation space occurs for at least the following seven
years.
Stardate 39355.5: Dekon Elig is killed by phaser fire on Velos VII.
On Mordan IV, construction workers use steelplast for the sealing off of segments of
tunnels under the principal city of the planet. An example of a tunnel segment sealed
from adjoining tunnels is the subsidiary tunnel M-4.
Patterson Supra is born.
Cadet Ro Laren graduates from Starfleet Academy.
Beverly Crusher is promoted to the rank of Commander after passing the bridge
officer examination.
Raymond Boone is killed. He is replaced by a Cardassian spy and returned to Starfleet.
Within the year, Boone resigns from Starfleet, leaves his wife, and moves to a
Cardassian border planet.
Rugal, son of Kotan PaDar, is kidnapped by a Cardassian officer and taken to the
Tozhat Resettlement Centre after his mother is killed in a Bajoran Resistance attack.
He would be adopted by Bajoran Proka Migdal.
This is the last year in which Tom Paris feels he has a life that is worth risking.
Quark loans his cousin Gaila an amount of latinum to start up a munitions consortium.
Gaila promises Quark to pay him back in a shuttle should he become a success.

o Stardate 40052: The dilithium crystal chamber that will be used on the
Enterprise is designed on outpost Seran T-1. It is installed on the Enterprise at
Utopia Planitia Fleet Yards.
o Construction of the Enterprise at Utopia Planitia is completed. Commander
Orfil Quinteros, who supervised the construction, would later accept a post at
Starbase 74.
o Stardate 40759.5: The Enterprise is commissioned at the Utopia Planitia Fleet
Yards, Mars.
o The Enterprise begins its shakedown mission out of spacedock, before
returning to dock at Earth Station McKinley.
o Prior to formally taking command of the starship, Captain Jean-Luc Picard
picks his senior staff, including Geordi LaForge, Natasha Yar and William T.
Riker. He decides on Riker as first officer based on an incident on the USS
Hood.
The USS Olympia, under the command of Captain Lisa Cusak, leaves the Alpha
Quadrant on an 8-year exploration of the Beta Quadrant.
Stardate 40250.5: The USS Phoenix is commissioned at the 40 Eridani A Starfleet
Construction Yards.
On Terok Nor, Natima Lang, an agent of the Cardassian Communications Service,
becomes romantically involved with the bartender Quark, who is selling food illegally
to the Bajorans. He in turn uses her personal access codes to steal money from the
Cardassian government.
Stardate 40291.7: The SS Tsiolkovsky an Oberth-class Federation science vessel is
commissioned at the Baikonur Cosmodrome, CIS. Eight months before her destruction
in 2364, this ship is assigned to study the collapse of a red supergiant star into a white
dwarf.
On Velara III, drilling operations begin at tapping the water in the subsurface layer.
Gul Darheel dies in his sleep due to a coleibric hemorrhage.
George Primmin becomes a security officer.
In his search for the Albino, Dahar master Kang discovers one of the Albinos
discarded wives on Dayos IV. Kang fed and clothed her and later told her the story of
his murdered son and his quest. Although he suspected that she knew the location, she
said nothing.
Gul Dukar and Gul Hadar attend a reception at the Bajoran Centre for Science to view
Odo and his abilities. The Changeling performs the Cardassian neck trick to wide
acclaim.
Starfleet makes their last great intelligence find until the discovery of a crashed
JemHadar ship on Torga IV in 2373.
Prof. Forra Gegen propounds the Distant Origin Theory.
Artim is born on the planet Baku.
Greta Vanderweg begins her Starfleet service.

William T. Riker is offered command of the ill-fated USS Drake, but instead accepts
posting to the new USS Enterprise-D as first officer.
Captain Jean-Luc Picard takes command of the USS Enterprise-D and the ship departs
Earth on its first mission, to Farpoint Station. The official order to take command is
signed by Rear Admiral Norah Satie on stardate 41148. The Enterprise subsequently
makes first official contact with the Q entity and the lifeform which formed Farpoint.

 The Enterprise receives a strange message from the crew of the SS Tsiolkovsky, an
Oberth-class vessel observing red supergiant that is about to explode into a white
dwarf. Upon arrival, the crew is discovered all dead by an away team. The crew of the
Tsiolkovsky was suffering from polywater intoxication, which is later introduced to the
Enterprise by Geordi LaForge. The Enterprise is nearly destroyed by a stellar core
fragment from the supergiant after Jim Shimoda removes all the isolinear chips from
engineering, preventing the Enterprise from going to warp, but the ship is saved by the
actions of Lt. Commander Data and Wesley Crusher.
The Enterprise-D travels to Ligon II to acquire a vaccine for Anchilles fever that
afflicted the population of Styris IV from the Ligonians.
The Enterprise makes first official contact with the Ferengi.
The Enterprise is hurled to the M33 Galaxy by the Traveler.
The USS Stargazer, Picards first command, is returned to Starfleet custody by the
Ferengi.
Lore is discovered on Omicron Theta by the Enterprise crew. He is reassembled, but
later transported into space when he tries to betray the Enterprise to the Crystalline
Entity.
The star Beta Magellan goes supernova. Computer systems on the planet Bynaus,
which is close by, are destabilized. The Bynars temporarily hijack the Enterprise-D
from Starbase 74 in order to repair their damaged computers.
Starfleet Admiral Mark Jameson dies on Mordan IV.
The mythical planet of Aldea is revealed to exist.
Natasha Yar is killed on Vagra II by the entity known as Armus.
Alien neural parasites infiltrate Starfleet Command. Admirals Gregory Quinn and
Norah Satie are instrumental in uncovering the alien plot, Dr. Beverly Crusher
discovers a means of removing the parasites from the host, and Captain Picard and
Commander Riker destroy the mother creature. The parasites transmit a homing
message before they are killed.
Several Federation and Romulan outposts close to the Neutral Zone are destroyed
prior to and on stardate 41903.2. Both the Federation and the Romulans suspect each
other as the cause. Based on similarities with other attacked stations, it is probable
these events marked the first appearance of the Borg in Federation space during the
24th century.
The Romulan Star Empire returns to interstellar politics after 53 years of isolation.
Senator Pardek represents Romulus on a Barolian trade conference.
Aamin Marritza started to work as an instructor at the Cardassian Military Academy
on Kora II.
Morn visits Quarks for the first time.
The Bajoran Ro Laren graduates from Starfleet Academy and is assigned to the USS
Wellington.
The JemHadar Virakkara is created in the Gamma Quadrant.
Mardah leaves her foster family on Bajor to live on her own.
A few weeks before the USS Enterprise-D visited the Vandor system, there is an
accident in one of the labs of the research outpost on the fourth planet. There are two
survivors Dr. Paul Manheim and his wife, Jenice.
Six months before the starship Enterprise-D visited the Omega Sagitta system, Benzan
of Straleb and Yanar of Altec begin courting each other with the assistance of Captain
Thadiun Okona.
