Overview
Loading the motor driver parameters is an integral part of the driver replacement
procedure. The parameters are loaded after installing the new motor driver, or in case
of adjusting the current motor driver parameters.
Required tools
SigmaWin100 software application installed in the Scitex XLjet computer.
Using the machine key, open the Scitex XLjet left cover of the electronic unit.

Disconnect the Com cable from the Com1 slot in the computers rear side.

Connect the JET 110 cable to the Com slot in the computer.
Note: All Scitex XLjet machines are equipped with the JET 110 cable that is not used
for everyday machine operation. The JET 110 cable is only used for testing the
machine driver and the driver parameters set loading.

Using the machine key, open the Scitex XLjet right cover of the driver unit.

Connect the other end of the JET 110 cable to the driver as shown in the picture
below.

Locate the YASAKAWA shortcut icon on the desktop and open the software.
Note: In the first screen that appears you will be prompted to choose an online
connection.

After you choose an online connection a dialog box will appear, containing
information about the type of hardware that has been detected by the software.
Click OK if this information is correct.

The display of the current parameters set to the specific driver will appear on the
screen.

Insert the Scitex XLjet software backup CD into the computer CD drive.

Browse the CD (SigmaWin Burning files) and locate the Burning files folder.

Note: There are four parameter set files in the Burning files folder. Each file contains
a different set of parameters, according to the specific driver (X, Y, Z, T).

Check the Select all box to read all the parameters as shown in the picture
below.

Press the Write button to load the parameter set to the driver.

After writing the new values into the driver, reset the system by turning OFF and
ON the relevant driver circuit breaker.

Disconnect both ends of the JET 110 cable from the driver and the computer.

Connect the Com cable to the Com1 connector located in the computers rear
side (see the picture in step 2).
