CHEMTECH will organise 27 edition of CHEMTECH World Expo

from January 28-31, 2015 at Bombay Exhibition Centre,
Goregaon (East), Mumbai. The event envisages bringing the
entire ecosystem of the downstream chemical processing
industry from key manufacturing sectors of Chemicals &
Petrochemicals, Polymers & Plastics, Rubber & Elastomers,
Mining, Metals & Metallurgy, Pulp & Paper, Paints & Coatings and
the allied services providing sectors of EPC, Industry Automation
& Control and Water to world's second largest platform for the
chemical processing industry.
Mr B Narayan, Group President (Procurement & Projects),
Reliance Industries Ltd has graciously accepted chairing the
current edition of EPC World Expo which will be organised
concurrently during CHEMTECH World Expo 2015.
EPC World Expo is India's single largest forum which sees a

The rationale behind the theme Strong Indian EPC to Make

Brand India Global for the Chemtech EPC Conference was
owing to the fact that the businesses in the Indian market were
not so promising in the last couple of years. Moreover, it will take
at least a year or two for the new government to eliminate the
prevailing predicaments in the Indian EPC sector depending
upon how quickly the new pragmatic policies are brought into
effect. Until then, the EPC companies will be completely
dependent on projects outside India.
The other prime focus of the event is to create awareness among
the Chemical Industry in India about the pros and cons, as well
as the effectiveness of the EPC/ EPCM mode of contracting, so
as to enable the customers to take better advantage of the
competence of the Engineering Companies & EPC Contractors
in line with the international practices followed in other
developed countries and regions.
Furthermore, many fabricators and manufacturers are also part
of the conference, so it is necessary to see how the Indian
manufacturers can successfully be a part of supply chains of the
global EPC projects. Besides, Chemtech 2015 has also
incorporated a dedicated session for the Indian equipment

market, since equipment manufacturers form a very important
part of the EPC forum.
