From the interaction with the headmistress, Chieng Sai Huong, I learned that a
headmistress plays a very important to a school. This is because in order to make a
school achieve high performance and results of the students, the headmistress has to
point out the weak point and bad attitude of a teacher and correct them in time. She
thinks that that action is essential because only headmistress has the power and
authority to correct a teacher with the teacher willing to listen to the advices. This is
because only with the teachers with good quality teaching in a school, the students
result can be improved and maintained in the process of realising the Vision 2020
founded by our former prime minister, Tun Mahathir.
From the interaction with the Co-curriculum Assistant, Lim Ching Chai, I realised
that Co-curriculum is very important to a school so as the students. This is because Lim
Ching Chai mentioned that co-curriculum helps the school to face the unforeseen
consequences faced by the school as the education system in Malaysian is undergoing
a continuous change. For example, when the Ministry of Education (KPM) request the
school to organize the 1 Murid 1 Sukan activity, the school is able to perform it as the
students are trained and can at least run continuously for a while without any accident.
Besides, the student is able to learn new knowledge and train them to cope with the
stage fright which they may found it useful in their future.
As for the interaction with the Counselling teacher, Teo Ai Choo, I found out that
there are reasons for every student with disciplinary problems. These student are most
likely come from family with financial, relationship and many other problems. Teacher
should take initiative to help the students as they need their help to regain their bright
future. If the teachers helped the students and they become a successful person when
they grow up, they will remember the teacher forever and the work hard to make our
country a better place to live in.
From the interaction with my School Based Experience (PBS)s mentor, I learned
that teachers should be more caring towards the students. Teachers can help the
students to memorize and think something more critically and efficiently via mind maps

such as double bubble map, tree map and many others in conjunction with the
governments plan in realising the plan of inculcating Higher Order Thinking Skills
(HOTS) within each and every student. In this way, the goals of the Malaysia Education
Blueprint (PPPM) can also be achieved.
As for the interaction with a student from the class 4A, Tiffany Ting Yieng Jun, I
realise that the infrastructure and facilities in the school really provide much help in her
process of studying. For example, she is able to go to the school library in the school to
borrow books to be taken home to read which benefits her in her comprehension part
during her exam as she is exposed to a large variety of vocabularies. Besides, students
can also go to the library to do revision before the examination week as the quiet
environment there is suitable for students to study.
