Dear Parents

We are delighted to be able to provide you with a comprehensive guide to the extra-
curricular programme running at the School next term.

This booklet will provide you with an overview of all clubs; those run by members
of the teaching staff as well as those run by external professional coaches.

As with last term, all clubs (with the exception of training & mini-musketeers) will fall
into line with the following after-school schedule: Session 1 (3.30 – 4.15), Session 2
(4.15 – 5.00) and Session 3 (5.00 – 5.45).

As in previous terms, all clubs are run on a ‘first come, first served’ basis. With this
in mind please do not delay in returning the booking form, on the back page, to
avoid disappointment.

If you feel there is something missing, or requires further clarification, please do not
hesitate to get in touch:

Ben Moir, Extra-Curricular Co-ordinator

Additional Information:
Lunchtime Clubs will run from either 12.50 pm - 1.20 pm or 1.20 pm -1.50 pm
(please check confirmation forms).

After-School Clubs will run as follows (unless otherwise stated on

confirmations):

Session 1: 3.30 pm - 4.15 pm

Session 2: 4.15 pm - 5.00 pm
Session 3: 5.00 pm - 5.45 pm

All After-School Clubs (Sessions 2 & 3) will go to tea, prior to their

activities (with the exception of after-school training). Parents will
be charged for Tea, on the end of term bill.

If your son is in a Session 3 activity he will spend between 4.15 pm and 5.00
pm in prep class. (In these cases he will automatically be placed on the
register)

The group allocation for both Cricket and Tennis will be ability based,
grouping together boys of similar levels. This will, hopefully, allow the
coaches to provide more specific coaching to benefit each boy’s development.

For activities such as Basketball & Judo where we run a number of sessions,
priority for the earlier sessions will be given to the younger age groups. As a
result boys in Years 5-8 may often find themselves being allocated Session 3.

If, for any reason, a session has to be cancelled parents will be

notified, at the earliest convenience, by the School’s texting service.

If your son is unable to attend an after-school activity the member of staff

concerned must be contacted, prior to the day. If it is a session run by an
external member of staff please e-mail activities@lanesborough.surrey.sch.uk.

The Pick Up point for each activity will be the Club’s venue, NOT the Chinese
Gates.
