When Phineas Gage met with his severe accident in 1948, there was no way to know that

the brain is responsible for his weird behavior after his accident. These days, there are many
devices that can measure all activities of the brain and their relation to behavior also. During
behavioral actions, FMRIs, functional magnetic resonance imaging, can easily locate the major
brain activity and its location. FMRI technology is working successfully for understanding how
the brain affects behavior and also which part is involved during that particular behavioral action
(PBS, 2014). There are some other techniques such as magneto encephalogram (MEG) and
electro encephalogram (EEG). They both measure the brain activities and their connection to
behavior.
Behavioral neuroscience gives credit to biology for human behavior and psychology
explores brain function to find behavior in the sense of how a person uses his or her five senses.
Physiology combines psychology and biology to understand human behavior. Many kinds of
possibilities came out from these two combinations and after knowing how the brain works and
how it affects behavior. In schools, colleges, and many mental health counselors are helping
students for their mental health. Many psychologists, psychiatrists, social workers are working to
help the person who needs psychological or psychiatric help in many ways.
