Missionary Memo

Dear friends at Westbourne,
Prayer for the next FEW months
Please pray for the support needs of three out-going Fellowship
International missionaries - to Lebanon (Anayssi) and Spain (DeVitos and
Castros). The Castros are within 20% of meeting their support needs; we
hope to send them to Extremadura, Spain by mid 2015.
Marilyn had a terrible fall, while on holiday in Greece, early October, with
surgery in Athens and months of therapy. To date, she is still not
completely mobile. Pray for Marilyn as she continues her long recovery. We
hope she can go back to nursing.
Thanks for praying for my children. Alec just graduated from University
(Oct). Jessica starts her first Co-op Semester in January working in
Brampton in her field(environmental studies), and Katelyn and Adrian are
working and studying in Saskatoon. Katelyn is in second year of Law
School. Please keep praying for their spiritual vitality in the midst of busy
lives.
Pray for our Fellowship National Staff as many make transitions into new
roles starting in January 2015. Even good change can be tricky!
Pray for safety and provision while I visit our missionaries in Japan and
Indonesia from Jan 16 to Feb 1, 2015.
Pray for our Fellowship as we discuss and study the possibility of a
change to local church membership. Pray that our National Council will
steward the process well.
Always pray for my personal support needs. My hope is that several
more churches and/or individuals will decide to join my personal support
team in 2015.

Special Announcements
You are invited to attend WBC Quarterly Business Meeting,
to be held in the Multipurpose Room at Westbourne Place on
Jan. 18, 2015 at 6:30 pm.

The INSURANCE BUREAU OF CANADA has offered a grant to

assist with FEPI and our CERT training. With affirmation this
funding is forth-coming, Bridges of Love made the decision to offer
a 2 for 1 Registration to our church community. As with all our
events, we encourage out-reach to community members. If someone
wishes to attend from your church and bring an additional person
(either from church, friend or neighbour) there will be a discount of
50% for two registrations.
What an opportunity for the local church to make vital connections with
their neighbours. God is so good.
