THEME
CREATING THE FUTURE WE WANT Future begins with the vision we hold
now. What kind of future do you wish to create for yourself and the world?
Please share your dream and ideas for making it a reality.
Ways to Realise The Future I Dream of
All people do dream about their future. I want a less polluted world, no wars, few
crime cases and people around the world are united to strive for new knowledge. A
glorious future starts with the attitude of the young generation nowadays. There was
an Islamic leader who was quoted saying
If you wish to see the future of a certain country, see what happens to the young
generation,.
It will be us, the current generation to work hard in moulding the younger generation
Therefore, below are my suggestions of realising my vision of what the future will be;
that are inculcating the interest towards knowledge, being green and having
adequate religious education.
The first thing that I wish to create for myself and the world is all people will have the
interest in reading beneficial books. They must be keen to explore new things and to
widen and improve their knowledge. Encourage the producers of television
programmes, movies or dramas to produce a kind of reality program, movies,
documentaries or dramas about learning new knowledge and make the youngsters
as their target. Meanwhile, the governments must spend extra money to build
libraries especially at the remote areas to promote interests in acquiring new
knowledge. Moreover, the government must control the entertainment programmes in
local television channels. Too much entertainment will make the youngsters to
become not serious with their pursuit of gaining new knowledge. They will think that
gaining knowledge is such a burden to their life. Furthermore, the parents must
monitor the youngsters too in realising this dream. They must always advise their
children with whom they should make friends and they must be good listeners
towards their children. Therefore, children know where to lean on when they face
problems in their studies.

Moreover, parents have the authority to ensure that one home should not have more
than one television. They should expose their children towards the benefits of
enjoying online documentaries and journals; they also should always discourage their
children to surf entertainment websites.
The second thing is, people must be educated about the importance of having a
green environment. One can go from home to home to collect used plastic bottles,
cans or newspapers and sells them at the nearest recycling centre. Therefore,
recycling can be made as a part time job too. By recycling, one can gain income as
well as new knowledge of how untreated toxic substances and non-biodegradable
wastes can affect their environment and their health. Besides, by walking from home
to home and around the recreational park to collect recyclable things, it will reduce
their stress at their workplace. They will feel satisfied when the environment around
them is clean. Being satisfied with what they contribute towards their neighbourhood
will motivate them to perform well at their workplace. They can also have a little
space at their home to plant trees and herbs. Such hobby can fill their leisure time,
cut down their expenditure to buy groceries, and as a therapy to treat stress for
people are burdened with tasks at their workplace, economic crisis or family
problems. Such green environment can help supplying oxygen towards their home
too.
The third thing is, all children must have their religious education. Every religion
teaches its followers to do good deeds and avoid from doing sins. Parents must be
responsible for their childrens religious education. If they are not experts in their
religions, they must entrust religious scholars to teach their children about their
religion. When the younger generation have more faith in their religion, they will fear
to do sins. As a consequence, the rate of crime cases will reduce. There will be
lesser social ills, family problems or pollutions as people are afraid that they will
provoke Gods anger by doing sins. There will be less war among countries, unlike
now and affected countries will try their best in being diplomatic; in order to make
peace with other countries even though they have different views about certain
things. This will also help to develop a good attitude within a person. When a person
has a good attitude, he or she will always do their best in doing good deeds. People
will be more inspired or motivated in work as they believe that in every difficulty, God
is always there to help them.

Thus they will have an improvement in their work performance. Having adequate
religious education will also improve the relationship between parents and children.
Thus, each family will be one happy family.
In conclusion, the suggestions above are my best picks on how to establish a better
future. Without religious education, one will not try to save the world by going green
and always seek for knowledge to find the purpose of his or her life.
