COMPUTATION OF GROSS HOUSEHOLD MONTHLY PER CAPITA INCOME

Monthly gross household per capita income (PCI) is defined as the:


Total monthly gross income* of immediate# and nonimmediate## family members staying with the applicant
total number of immediate and nonimmediate family members staying with the applicant

(4)

Gross income* includes:


(a)

Income (including employee's CPF/mandatory contributions) contributions from selfemployment, business or


salaried employment (which includes basic salary, allowances, overtime pay, etc) as well as other sources of
income (eg, property rental).

(b)

If the monthly gross income* earned is irregular (eg, commissions/overtime pay received), you may compute your
family members gross average monthly income based on the payslips for the last three months (from your month
of application).

(c)

Bonuses received in the last 12 months (from applicants application submission month) should be included and
would be computed as one twelfth of the annual wage supplements.

(d)

The monthly financial support from divorced/separated parent or spouse such as alimony and contributions to
support children/household.

Payments in kind, reimbursement for transport and other expenses, and monthly allowance given to full-time National
Serviceman are excluded.
(5)

Immediate family members# include your:


(a)
spouse, parents and your children who may or may not be living together with you.
(b)
divorced/separated/deceased spouse or parent must be included in the application (for computation of pci, they
may be excluded).

(6)

Nonimmediate family members## include your:


(a)
grandparents, siblings, siblings spouses, parents siblings (uncles and aunties), and
(b)
any other relatives who are living together with you.
