Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and confessions,
and read the Bible Story with scripture references indicated under the
power outlets. As this is done each day, let your child color in or put a
sticker on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional. At
the end of the week please sign as proof of completion and return to the
teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks Power Cords in a month will
have their picture posted in the foyer of Power Source and their name in
the newsletter.

Father God,
Thank you for loving me and taking care of me. Bless my church, Pastor Ron,
and his family. Bless my teachers for teaching me Your Word. I believe your love
is flowing through me to other people. Help me to obey my parents so things
will go well with me and I will live a long life on the earth. I will tell how great
you are and how much I love you. I thank You that by Jesus stripes I am healed.
In Jesus' name,
Amen

I love because He first loved me. 1 John 4:19

I will live as a child of light. Ephesians 5:8
I will be filled with joy in His presence. Psalm 16:11

The goodness of our Most High God makes people want to

serve Him and follow Him.

I Chronicles 16:34 Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! His

faithful love endures forever.

Although there are thousands of religions and gods in this world,

our God is the one true god and the only way to heaven is through
His son, Jesus. We may meet people who do not believe in our God,
or think that their god is just as good as ours. The truth is there is no
other god like our God. He is love, light, life, and overall good! In His
love and goodness He gave His own Son to die for us so we could
have life and have His light living inside us. Light is the opposite of
darkness. It is darkness and sin that keep people tied into doing evil.
Other gods want their followers to be scared, but our God, the Most
High God, loves His followers and calls them children of light. The
Bible tells us that God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all. In
fact, if we have fellowship with God we are friends with God; we no
longer walk in darkness, doing evil things. We are supposed to have
pure hearts and clean hands. Walking away from lies, deceit, sin, and
evil is walking in the light with nothing to hide. The deepest need in
every person is to know they are loved and accepted. Our God loves
us and we are blessed to serve a God of love. No other god has ever
loved so much that He gave His life to give us a better life and an
eternal home with Him.
