3) What are your principles in teaching?


True learning only occurs when students have an in depth understanding.
UBD is a way of thinking more carefully and purposefully about design or
curriculum planning, not a program.
The end goal of UBD is students understanding reflected in the ability to
transfer learnings to enable them to connect the meaning of the lesson to the
lives of the students.
Content mastery is not the long-term goal of curriculum and instruction. The
ability to USE the content wisely and effectively is the long-term goal.
