The AseptiMix Agitator is a magnetic mixer specifically designed

for handling the most common mixing applications in the
bioprocessing/pharmaceutical industry.
ccIt is efficient, highly effective, highly aseptic, and
extremely robust.
ccIt is competitively priced and available on short notice.
ccThe unique impeller design pumps the tank material up
and down simultaneously, which prevents dead spots and
ensures quick, complete mixing of the material.
ccThis agitator is suited for most general mixing, suspension,
blending, immiscible liquids, miscible liquids, fluid motion,
and heat transfer applications.

Mixer assemblies come standard with SEW Eurodrive or Lafert/Motovario
gearmotors; provides flexibility and allows us to keep production costs low
(starting in April 2014ATEX versions will be available for explosion-proof

CIP/SIP design ensures that your post-process cleaning is trouble free

Bearing and seal design is flush, which eliminates entrapment areas while
enabling the best performance for cleaning cycles
All wetted stainless steel surfaces meet or exceed the quality requirements
of ASME BPE with respect to surface finish, material chemistry, and
traceability
Long-lasting tungsten carbide or silicon carbide bearings provide the best
performance in the harshest environments
Incredibly resilient PTFE-encapsulated silicone seals meet FDA and USP
Class VI requirements, which suits the demands of the pharmaceutical and
biotech processing industries
Minimized weld-post diameter allows installation in the tightest locations
Convenient mounting feature supports the motor assembly during final
installation
Retractable driveshaft allows operators to easily remove and install the
impeller without having to remove the entire gearmotor assembly
Unique impeller design that pumps up and down simultaneously, which
prevents dead spots and ensures complete tank mixing

ASEPCO ASEPTIMIX Agitator Selecting the Right Mixer Model

The table below shows how to select the appropriate size of
AseptiMix Agitator for various vessel sizes and agitation levels.
The AseptiMix Agitator is most appropriate for general mixing,
suspension, blending immiscible liquids and miscible liquids,
fluid motion, and heat transfer applications with specific
gravity between 1.0 and 1.2.
The AseptiMix Agitator is likely not the appropriate mixer if
your process includes powder addition, fermentation, cell
culture, or gas dispersion; or if you desire a mixer with nonstandard options or features. Please call ASEPCO to determine
whether our PolyMixer Agitator is the correct choice for your
application.
