A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE DILG OFFICE TO FURNISH THE BARANGAY
OF THE COMPREHENSIVE DATA OF PROTOCOLS, PROCEDURES AND
MEMORANDA ON DISASTER RISK REDUCTION PROGRAM
Whereas, the Committee on Environment is in need of copies of procedures relative
to the operation of the Disaster Risk Reduction Program of the Municipality;
Whereas, the committee firmly believes that the declaration of evacuation in highly
disaster threatened areas must follow certain procedure, in this respect, procedures
and guidelines that may have already been enacted by which the Barangay has not
yet any appropriate copies;
Whereas, considering the release of funds and the legality thereof must follow
certain guidelines, memorandum circulars, if any, inasmuch as they are also
intertwined with the purpose of the law, are also respectfully requested;
Whereas, this request was initiated in order to check that executive powers are kept
within the metes and bounds of law and to avert any profligate and unnecessary
expense of public funds, thus, if possible, to curtail the use of Barangay personnel,
services and assets as instruments of latent corruption;
Now therefore, upon motion unanimously seconded, be it;
Resolved, as it is hereby resolved, to request the DILG Office to furnish he Barangay
of the Comprehensive Data of Protocols, Procedures and Memoranda on Disaster
Risk Reduction Program;
Resolved further, let the Honorable Office of Hon. Leny Escarro be furnished a copy
of this resolution for her approval and appropriate response.

A RESOLUTION PROMOTING THE COLLECTION AND STORAGE OF USED PAPER
PRODUCTS IN BARANGAY POBLACION

Whereas, paper as all we know is a limited resource valued for its numerous use;
Whereas, this Barangay hereby declares its policy to encourage all concerned
sectors to participate in the recycling of paper materials in this community;
Whereas, as recycled paper gradually gains its importance as industrial resource,
there is now a rising demand on domestic paper products;
Whereas, the Barangay hereby discourages the burning of recyclable materials and
imposes consciousness on environmental issues confronting the Government;
Whereas, the Barangay can also gain sizable income on recycled paper products
that can be shipped to Metro Manila;
Now therefore, upon motion unanimously seconded, be it;
Resolved, as it is hereby resolved, to promote the collection and storage of used
paper products in Barangay Poblacion;
Resolved further, that a storage facility in the Barangay be reserved for this sole
purpose only;
