The younger the better, with those up to 29 years of age getting maximum benefit, while those
older need note lose hope as they can compensate for loss of age points by scoring high IELTS score
and against higher educational qualifications as also, where possible getting a job offer from a
Canadian Employer.
Better IELTS score and higher educational qualifications and improve your place in the Express Entry
pool rankings! To claim spousal points, the spouse MUST undergo WES (Educational credential
assessment), as well as IELTS test requirement.
Prospects are also bright for candidates who have Canadian experience and / or Canadian
Qualifications, even without any CURRENT confirmed job offer from Canada.
At this stage, it seems there are NO points for blood relations in Canada under the Express Entry
program.
There will be draws on regular basis from the express entry pool - with resumes securing higher
ranking being picked up FIRST.
Prospects are brightest with those who indeed end up getting job offers from Canada but starting
point for that is getting your application into the Express Entry Pool and getting your profile posted
in Canadian Job Bank.
The new quota for skilled professionals under the express entry program starts 1st January 2015 and so
there is EVERY reason for you to sign up with ABHINAV immediately to get into the pool ASAP. Remember
that it will take time for both spouses to get WES and IELTS scores and there is limited quota for federal

As stated already having a confirmed job offer is not a compulsory requirement to be eligible to be
qualified under the express entry program. Where applicable, following is the process and procedure.
After your application has been put into the pool and resume posted in Canadian it can be assessed by the
Canadian employers and provinces will have access to a database pool of professionals and trades person
Under the Express Entry Electronic system. After shortlisting the candidates, the employers will approach
Department of Employment and Social Development, Government of Canada and apply for Labor Market
Impact assessment. Such an assessment indicates that the employer tried to look for similar profiles within
Canada but was not successful. He is therefore permitted to make an offer to a professional or trades
person or a candidate qualifying under Canadian Experience class whose profile is listed in the pool of
Candidates under express entry on-line system or is in the Canadas job bank. Armed with such an offer,
the candidate can claim additional points while lodging his application under the express entry pool and
will be placed higher in rankings in the pool. They will have better chance of getting immediately selected
in draws because of higher ranking and can expect an invite from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC)
to file an application for permanent residence visa to Canada, as also faster processing.

Candidates meet the minimum documentation requirements such as getting educational credentials
done and undergoing IELTS test and gets other critical documents ready. Where married, both these
requirements must be met for spouse as well. Our team will be pleased to guide you on critical
documents area once you have signed as our client.
Candidate files an on-line express entry form and will be asked to provide information related to his
qualifications, experience, occupation, Language skills, Canadian Education, Canadian Experience,
Spousal language skills, job offer etc.
He will be asked to indicate which of the economic class migrant programs he is making the
application under Federal Skilled Worker Class, Canadian Experience Class, Canada Foreign
Tradesperson class.
The applicants will then file their profile into the Canadian job bank.
The electronic system will then rank the pool of applications and conduct draws from such filed
applications. Higher the candidate appears in the rank, better are the chances for him to get an
invite for filing a Canada PR application.
Applications that are not chosen from the pool for one year are likely to be removed after a year and
candidate will have to try his luck again.
Applicants chosen from the draw will be invited to file an application for permanent residence visa
with CIC. This application must be filed within 60 days of receipt of invite failing which invite will be
withdrawn. So is it critically ready to be ready with complete file and all required critical documents
at all times.
Application will be filed with CIO, Nova Scotia with required fee. Rest of the process including
background check and medical formalities are likely to be conducted at Local Canadian consulate.
Finally, the candidate will be asked to submit right of landing fee and passports for stamping.
