B.Sc. CENTRALIZED ADMISSION INFORMATION & RULES 2014-15

1) The Centralized admission system in B.Sc. course will be applied for the year: 201415 in all the three affiliated science colleges of this university. The admission form is
available on University website: kskvku.digitaluniversity.ac
and also at the Help centers. The processing fee of Rs. 350/- will be charged at the
time of submission of duly filled forms with documents at the help centers.
2) For admission in B.Sc. course the minimum eligibility is passing 12 th Science Stream
with either A, B or AB group.
3) Admissions are given purely on merit basis as per the UGC, KSKV Kachchh University
and Gujarat Government rules.
4) The seat reservation criteria will be applicable as per the Government norms.
5) The student can download the form from university website and after filling it can
verify at the help centers along with the two sets of Xerox documents with original
documents.
6) Keep (in two sets) all your documents ready before filling the admission form. (Copy
of marksheet/s and certificate of attempt, two passport size photographs, blood
group report, School leaving certificate, caste/cremilayer certificate for reserved
category students etc. as mentioned in admission form)
7) SC/ST category students are required to submit their caste certificate issued by the
competent authority. Without caste certificate, the student will be treated as general
category student.
8) OBC/Economical Backward category students need to produce non-cremilayer

certificate of the financial year 2013-14. The admission form is incomplete without it
and is not eligible for reservation. No claim will be entertained after due date.
Without certificate, the student will be treated as general category student.
9) The university will generate common merit list of the students who have submitted

duly filled forms and in due time mentioned by the University.

10) The merit list generated by university will indicate the name of the student along

with the name of the college where he/she got admission will be displayed at the
Help centers and on University website.
11) Fees should be paid at the admitted college in time as per the time slot allotted on

the notice board of the college. Failure to this may lead to the cancellation of your
right to the admission.
12) Students have to produce all the original documents for verification before paying

the fees at the admitted college.

13) Students, as per Gujarat government rules, having domicile of other states will not be

given reservation rights to the admission to any college.

14) Keep your form receipt carefully and produce at the time of admission or at any

inquiry related to admission.

15) Do not do any financial transactions to any institutions/agent/persons regarding

admission to any college. Admissions are given purely on merit.

16) Students except Gujarat Board (CBSC board and the students from other states) are

required to produce PROVISIONAL ELIGIBILITY CERTIFICATE from KSKV Kachchh

University, Mundra Road, Bhuj at the time of admission to the assigned college.
Students have to submit MIGRATION CERTIFICATE to the KSKV Kachchh University
directly within 45 days from the date of admission and FINAL ELIGIBILITY
CERTIFICATE to the college. Failing to this may lead to cancellation of admission.
17) Students of parents of Kashmiri migrants will be given benefits of admission as per

the letter of MHRD no. 3-1/2012 NER dated 7-3-2013.

18) Students who have passed 12th Science exam before 2014 will be considered only if

the seats in their respective category will remain vacant after the admission to 2014
passed students. 5 marks per attempt and 15 maximum marks will be deducted from
the total marks at the time of merit.

3 % seats reserved for physically challenged persons in all above categories. The
seat will be reserved only if he/she produce necessary medical certificate.

20) No students in any circumstances will be readmitted after the cancellation of

admission and reimbursement of fees.

21) Ragging is an offence. It is strictly prohibited. Involvement of any students in such

activities may lead to cancellation of admission and judicial inquiry and punishment.
22) Attendance in the classroom is a must for all the students. Failing to this may lead to

termination of the student from the college. Such students are not allowed to appear
in the Semester end exam of the college/University.
23) The help centers mentioned below will be open from Date: 17/06/2014 from 10.30

am to 06.00 pm on all working days. Will be closed on public holidays and sundays.
