MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 089-2014

GRANTING MEDICAL/FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO MR. EDUARDO OLIVERA IN THE
AMOUNT OF FIFTEEN THOUSAND PESOS (PHP15,000.00), CHARGEABLE AGAINST THE
APPROPRIATIONS FOR DONATION OF THE LOCAL CHIEF EXECUTIVE.

WHEREAS,
Mr. Eduardo Olivera, a trusted and hardworking employee of the Local
Government of Guinobatan, particularly in the Office of the Mayor, was hospitalized/confined due to
hypertension. Consequently, he incurred medical and hospitalization expenses;
WHEREAS,
it is of common knowledge that confinement in a medical institution is very
expensive and for a fast recovery, requires utmost attendance, time, patience and money;
WHEREAS,
Mr. Eduardo Olivera has rendered time and competent efforts for the
benefit of the LGU and has been an instrument for the attainment of an efficient and effective
municipal government, and thus, it is only fitting for the LGU to extend its support, morally and
financially to him, to somehow alleviate his needs in this difficult time;
WHEREAS,
it is not the amount that counts, but it is how we show our care and
concern for our fellow employee whom we consider as human assets of our institution being an
effective and loyal partner of the LGU for development in their respective fields of assignment;
WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises, be it now:
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan, Albay
in session assembled, to grant as it hereby grants Medical/Financial Assistance to Mr. Eduardo
Olivera in the amount of Fifteen Thousand pesos (PhP15,000.00), chargeable against the
appropriations for Donation of the Local Chief Executive.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that a copy of this resolution be furnished the Office of the Mayor
and Mr. Eduardo Olivera, and such other concerned offices or agencies, for their information and
appropriate action.
