MUNICIPAL RESOLUTION NO. 090-2014

GRANTING AUTHORITY TO THE HON. ANN Y. ONGJOCO, MUNICIPAL MAYOR OF
GUINOBATAN, ALBAY TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT WITH THE LAND
BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES, LIGAO BRANCH, REGARDING THE AVAILMENT BY ITS
EMPLOYEES WITH THEIR NEW PRODUCT, THE LAND BANK VISA DEBIT CARD.

WHEREAS,
the Land Bank of the Philippines, Ligao Branch, has offered to the local
government, for its due consideration, their new product, the Land Bank Visa Debit Card;
WHEREAS,
after thorough consideration, inviting for this purpose the concerned
official of the Land Bank of the Philippines, Ligao Branch, we have found that their new product
provides much advantages over the standard ATM card for everyday purchases, such as it allows
its user to shop online, pay bills and purchase over the phone and via email, among others;
WHEREAS,
this august body had been particularly concerned with providing
convenience to its constituents, particularly to its employees. With the advent of this new product,
this august body could not help but approve the same having in mind the benefits that can be
derived from the use of the same;
WHEREFORE, in view of the foregoing premises, be it now:
RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan, Albay
in session assembled, to grant as it hereby grants authority to the Hon. Ann Y. Ongjoco, Municipal
Mayor of Guinobatan, Albay to enter into a Memorandum of Agreement with the Land Bank of the
Philippines, Ligao Branch, regarding the availment by its employees with their new product, the
Land Bank Visa Debit Card.
RESOLVED FURTHER, that the provisions of the Memorandum of Agreement are made
an integral part of this Resolution and a copy of which is hereto attached and marked as Annex
A;

RESOLVED FURTHERMORE, that a copy of this resolution be furnished the Office of the
Mayor and the Land Bank of the Philippines, Ligao Branch thru its Branch Manager, Mr. Jerry R.
Fulay, and such other concerned offices or agencies, for their information and appropriate action.
APPROVED UNANIMOUSLY on motion of the Sponsoring Committee Chairman,
Honorable Councilor Frances John M. Oxales, and duly seconded by the members present this
28th day of July, 2014 during their 27th Regular Session.
