The so-called Muhammed ibn Abdul-Rahman al-Uraifi has made public what he
thinks of the Shiites, describing the sect of Shiism as "the basis of Zoroastrianism".
We say to this Wahhabi sheikh: "Zoroastrianism was Iran's religion before Islam, and
the Persians entered into the fold of Allah's creed in hordes. Their majority were
Sunnis, not Shiites, till the 16th Century A.D. If you mean the Persians'
Zoroastrianism, the people of Persia and its neighbors are historically Sunnis. If their
religion, according to your opinion, is Zoroastrianism, you will then prove to be
describing the creed of the Sunnis as Zoroastrianism."

Al-Uraifi says, "Shities are people of innovations, of shirk (polytheism)." He did so

during a Friday sermon which he delivered at the Bawari Mosque in the [Saudi]
capital, Riyadh. We respond to al-Uraifi by asking him: "Are not innovations the
creations of what does not exist among the Muslim masses?" The answer is: Yes. So,
Uraifi, could you tell us who created the Takfiri sect [Wahhabism] in the 18th Hijri
Century in the [Arabian] Peninsula? Was what someone [Muhammed ibn Abdul-
Wahhab] had created an innovation, or is your sect a Muhammedi brand which used
to be extinct and did not surface again till 1,300 years after the demise of the
Messenger [of Allah] (‫ !?)ص‬Does not the inventing of a new sect constitute an
innovation [bid'a ‫ ]بدعة‬according to the scales of your own speech?

This well known Wahhabi sheikh added saying that the [Iraqi] supreme religious
authority, Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Ali al-Sistani, is "heretic, sinner". What we know
about Sayyid al-Sistani is that he does not recognize any book as holy other than the
Qur'an: he testifies that There is no god save Allah and no prophet save Muhammed (
‫ )ص‬son of Abdullah, the Arab, the man of Quraish. Al-Sistani does not drink wine; he
does not decree that it is lawful for a Shiite to kill a Sunni, nor does he decree that
women are banned from driving cars. Al-Sistani does not decree that it is permissible
to establish peace with Israel; he does not decree that it is permissible to seek help
from foreign [non-Muslim] armies in order to protect Islamic holy places; so, who is
the heretic and on what evidence has al-Uraifi relied other than his own ignorance and
effort to create sedition [among the Muslims] which seems to grant such an individual
popularity among the Takfiris (who are so many these days)?

In order to explain the truth about the Shiites in a brief and quick way, we would like
to do it through expressing a response rather than calling names and venting anger
because we are people who, when the ignorant and the agents [of the enemies of
Islam] address us, we say: Salam! (Peace). We are people who testify that La ilaha
illa-Allah, Muhammadun (Sallah-Allahu alaihi wa Sallam) Rasool-Allah (There is no
god save Allah, Muhammed (peace and blessings of Allah be with him) is the
Messenger of Allah; and we testify that there is no prophet after the most honored
Messenger of Allah (‫)ص‬, nor do we have any Qur'an other than one identical to what
is printed by licensed presses of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in text, to the letter and
in the same order; and we see our Twelve Imams as humans who interpreted the
Qur'an and the Hadith through quoting the Messenger of Allah (‫ )ص‬from their
forefathers, and they were the most knowledgeable people of their time. We believe
that Ashura is the commemoration of the killing of [Imam] al-Hussain son of Ali and
son of Fatima daughter of Muhammed (‫ )ص‬at the hands of Yazid, grandson of the
former leader of the mushriks, polytheists, namely Abu Sufyan, and that
commemorating Ashura is meant to learn a moral lesson from dying in the cause of
Allah.

Such are the Shiites who are called kafir, apostate, by the so-called Muhammed
Abdul-Rahman al-Uraifi, the Wahhabi sheikh whose faith labels the Shiites as well as
the Sunnis who do not follow his faith as kafir. Our evidence to this fact is the
genocides carried out by followers of al-Uraifi's faith against the people of Algeria,
the young and the old, the elderly, the women and the men, although the people of
Algeria are Sunnis. Also our evidence is the declaration by followers of al-Uraifi's
sect that the Sufis are also kafir while they are Sunnis, and the labeling as kafir of the
Sunnis of Saudi Arabia, of the Gulf and of the Arabs who are secular and who
advocate liberalism, those whose ideologies we do not like, but they are Muslims who
declare their belief in Allah and in his Messenger (‫)ص‬, and the are Sunnis. Followers
of al-Uraifi's sect killed a highly dignified sheikh who followed the Sunni sect,
namely Sheikh al-Dhahbi, in the 1970s in Egypt because he was Sunni but did not
follow the sect followed by people like this Uraifi.

Sheikhs of sects like this Uraifi have prevented sheikhs of the Maliki, Hanafi and
Shafi'i [Sunni] sects from declaring their faith in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from
delivering sermons, from teaching at the kingdom's religious schools and from
delivering sermons and calling on people at the Haram Masjid [of the Ka'ba in
Mecca] in which each of them used to have a corner for its followers. People like al-
Uraifi are killers of the Sunnis in Iraq in addition to their killing the Shiites, and they
are the ones who bomb and slaughter the Sunnis in Pakistan. The most recent
"achievement" of followers of al-Uraifi's sect is killing about one hundred Sunnis in
Pakistan at a volleyball court. And they are the ones who bombed Sunni gatherings in
Jordan when they celebrated weddings at hotels, and they are the ones who were used
as role models and as mentors for the Taliban Movement when it ruled Afghanistan
and killed more Sunnis than it killed Shiites, persecuting women and men from
among the Sunnis only because they were not followers of its Takfiri sect.

For these reasons, we will not respond to al-Uraifi except by saying that stirring
sedition in the 18th and 19th centuries led to serving the interests of the British who
funded and armed the advocates of sedition, and now the United States and Israel
supply funds for those who stir sedition from among the Sunnis and Shiites alike, and
we do not see al-Uraifi's address except as an attempt to serve Israel and the United
States.

‫المدعو محمد بن عبدالرحمن العريفي أعلن عن رأيه بالشيعة حيث وصف مذهب‬
‫ المجوسية دين إيران ما قبل‬:‫ ونقول للشيخ الوهابي‬،‫التشيع بأنه »أساس المجوسية‬
‫السلم وقد دخل الفرس في دين ال أفواجا وكانوا في أغلبية أفرادهم أهل سنة‬
 ‫وجماعة ل أهل تشيع إلى القرن السادس عشر الميلدي‪ ،‬فإن قصدت بالمجوسية‬
‫الفرس فإن أهل فارس وجوارها أهل سنة وجماعة تاريخيا ولو كان دينهم دين‬
‫المجوس برأيك فإنك تثبت بذلك أنك تصف أهل السنة بالمجوسية‪ ،‬وقال العريفي‪:‬‬
‫»إن الشيعة هم أهل بدع ومشركون‪ ،‬وذلك خلل خطبة الجمعة من جامع البواري في‬
‫الرياض العاصمة«‪ ،‬ونرد على العريفي سائلين‪ :‬أليست البدع هي اختلق ما ليس‬
‫موجودًا في عموم المسلمين؟ والجواب هو نعم‪ ،‬إذن يا العريفي هل لك أن تقول لنا‬
‫من هو مختلق مذهب التكفير في القرن الثامن عشر الهجري في الجزيرة وهل ما‬
‫اخترعه أحدهم بدعة أم أن مذهبكم نوع محمدي كان منقرضا ولم يعد للظهور إل بعد‬
‫الف وثلثمئة سنة من وفاة الرسول؟ اليس اختراع مذهب جديد هو البدع بحسب‬
‫ميزان كلمك؟‬

‫وأضاف الشيخ الوهابي المعروف واصفًا المرجع الديني آية ال العظمى السيد علي‬
‫السيستاني بـ »الزنديق والفاجر«‪ ،‬وما نعرفه عن السيد السيستاني أنه ل يعترف‬
‫بكتاب غير القرآن ول إله له إل ال ول نبي له إل محمد بن عبد ال العربي القرشي‪،‬‬
‫والسيستاني ل يشرب الخمر ول يفتي بجواز قتل الشيعي للسني ول يفتي بجواز بناء‬
‫الجدار في رفح ضد غزة ول يفتي بجواز اضطهاد النساء ول يفتي بمنع قيادة‬
‫السيارات للنساء ول يفتي بجواز السلم مع إسرائيل ول يفتي بجواز الستعانة‬
‫بالجيوش الجنبية لحماية المقدسات السلمية فمن هو الزنديق وعلى أي دليل استند‬
‫العريفي إل على جهله وعمله في سبيل الفتنة التي يبدو أنها أصبحت تعطي صاحبها‬
‫شعبية لدى التكفيريين )ويا كثرهم(‪...‬‬

‫إن بيان حقيقة الشيعة بشكل مختصر وسريع هو الرد وليس الشتم ول الغضب لننا‬
‫قوم إذا خاطبنا الجاهلون والعملء قلنا سلما‪ ،‬وأننا قوم نشهد أن ل إله إل ال وأن‬
‫محمدًا صلى ال عليه وسلم رسول ال‪ ،‬ونشهد بأن ل نبي بعد الرسول الكرم ول‬
‫شريعة بعد شريعة السلم ول قرآن لنا إل القرآن المماثل لما تطبعه مطابع المملكة‬
‫العربية السعودية المجازة نصًا وحرفًا وترتيبًا‪ ،‬وأننا نرى أئمتنا الثني عشر بشرًا‬
‫فسروا القرآن والحديث بنقل عن رسول ال )ص( عن آبائهم وهم أعلم أهل أزمانهم‪،‬‬
‫ونؤمن بأن عاشوراء هي ذكرى مقتل الحسين بن علي وابن فاطمة بنت محمد على‬
‫يد يزيد حفيد زعيم المشركين السابق أبي سفيان‪ ،‬وأن إحياءنا لعاشوراء القصد منه‬
‫التعلم من عبرة الموت في سبيل ال‪.‬‬

‫هؤلء هم الشيعة الذين يكفّرهم المدعو محمد عبد الرحمن العريفي الشيخ الوهابي‬
‫الذي تكفر عقيدته الشيعة وأهل السنة من غير أتباعها ودليلنا على ذلك مذابح أتباع‬
‫مذهب العريفي ضد أهل الجزائر صغيرهم وكبيرهم وعجوزهم ونسائهم ورجالهم‬
‫رغم أن أهل الجزائر أهل سنة وجماعة‪ ،‬ودليلنا أيضا إعلن أتباع مذهب العريفي‬
‫تكفير الصوفيين وهم أهل سنة وجماعة‪ ،‬وتكفير أهل السنة السعوديين والخليجيين‬
‫والعرب من أهل العلمانية ودعاة الفكر الليبرالي الذين ل نحب أفكارهم شخصيا‬
‫ولكنهم مسلمون يعلنون إيمانهم بال ورسوله وهم سنة‪ ،‬ولقد قتل أتباع مذهب العريفي‬
 ‫شيخا جليل سني المذهب هو الشيخ الذهبي في السبعينيات في مصر لنه كان سنيًا‬
‫غير متبع للمذهب الذي يتبعه أمثال العريفي‪.‬‬

‫ومنع شيوخ المذهب من أمثال العريفي شيوخ المذاهب المالكية والحنفية والشافعية‬
‫من الدعوة في المملكة السعودية ومن الخطابة والتعليم في مدارس المملكة الدينية‪،‬‬
‫ومن الخطابة والدعوة في المسجد الحرام الذي كان لكل منهم فيه زاوية خاصة به‬
‫وبأتباعه‪ ،‬وأمثال العريفي هم قتلة السنة في العراق فضل عن قتلهم للشيعة وهم‬
‫مفجرو وذابحو أهل السنة والجماعة في باكستان وآخر إنجازات أتباع مذهب‬
‫العريفي مقتل ما يقارب مئة سني باكستاني في ملعب الكرة الطائرة السبوع‬
‫الماضي‪ ،‬وهم مفجرو تجمعات أهل السنة في الردن حينما احتفلوا بالعراس في‬
‫الفنادق وهم من تمثلت وتعلمت على يدهم حركة طالبان حين حكمت أفغانستان فقتلت‬
‫السنة أكثر مما قتلت من الشيعة واضطهدت النساء والرجال من أهل السنة والجماعة‬
‫فقط لنهم ليسوا من أتباع مذهبها التكفيري‪.‬‬

‫لذلك لن نرد على العريفي إل بقولنا إن إثارة الفتنة في القرنين الثامن عشر والتاسع‬
‫عشر أدت إلى خدمة البريطانيين الذين مولوها وسلحوها‪ ،‬واليوم تمول أميركا‬
‫وإسرائيل أهل الفتنة من السنة والشيعة على السواء‪ ،‬ول نرى في خطاب العريفي إل‬
‫محاولة لخدمة إسرائيل وأميركا‪.‬‬
