ORDER:

In G.O. Ms.No. 122, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (N) Department,

dated 27.2.1996, Orders have been issued directing to display a Notice Board in every
Government Office and the office of every Local body and Government Company or
undertaking containing the following message both in English and Tamil.
“ Bribery is against the law, complaints about corruption may be sent to the
Director of vigilance and Anti Corruption, Madras 600 006”

2] The Director of Vigilance and Anti Corruption has suggested that a board
containing Director of Vigilance and Anti Corruption office phone numbers with the
following slogans may be ordered to be affixed in public places at visible points and in
all Government Offices.

“ Bribe giving and receiving is an offence. If any official demands money, please
inform the local Vigilance and Anti Corruption office, over phone or in person”
3] After careful consideration of the suggestion mentiaoned in Para 2 above,
the Government direct that a Notice Board be displayed in every office and in the Public
places at viable points, containing the following slogans with the address and phone
numbers of Directorate of Vigilance and Anti Corruption and the Local Vigilance and
Anti Corruption Office of the District concerned.

“Bribe giving and receiving is an offence. Complaints about demand for bribe
may be made in person or over phone to the following address:-

necessary action as ordered in para 3 above. The Departments of Secretariat are
requested to issue necessary instructions to the Heads of Departments / Local bodies /
