TITLE OF THE STUDY :


A Study On Customer Satisfaction With Reference To Axis Bank In Gondia
Branch.

INTRODUCTION :
Axis bank limited is the third largest private sector bank in India it offers financial services
to customer segments covering large & MID-Corporate, MSME, Agricultural & Retail
Business. Axis Bank has its Headquarters in Mumbai Maharashtra. As on 31-march-2014 the
bank had a network of 2402 branches & extension counters & 12922 ATMS Axis Bank Has
a Largest ATMS Network among private bank in India.

COMPANY PROFILE :
Axis bank is located in Gondia District Maharashtra State. Gondia has no. of branches
spread across India. Branch banking has undergone significant changes in response to the
competition in financial services market & the ever increase in consumer demands. This led
to a single consumer bearing more than one account in different bank & due to internet
banking, as in case of Axis Bank Gondia Brach, fund transfer between these bank is also
possible.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY :
Research May Be Defined As A Scientific And A Systematic Search For Information On A
Specific Topic Research Is An Art Of Scientific Investigation Search Of & May Be Known
As Data.

A) PROBLEM DEFINITION :
Now a Days customer satisfaction play a vital role in banking system. The technological
advancement need to be adopted by the banks customer to match with the current
technological surrounding. so the banks must provide an easy facility to the customer
according their satisfaction. This study will analysis following aspects.
1) Why There Is need of customer satisfaction in banking system?
2) How to satisfy customer with their banking policies?
B) OBJECTIVE :
To examine the level of customer satisfaction associated with various aspects
of Axis Bank.
To make policy recommendations to improve the service quality of Axis
Bank.
To analyse the ATM service provided by the Bank.
To identify the key services provided by the bank to their customer.
C) HYPOTHESIS :
To act fairly & reasonably in all dealings with the customers by operating
secure & reliable banking & payment system.
To deal quicly & sympathetically with things that goes wrong by handling
their complaints promptly.
