INTRODUCTION
A Mutual Fund is a trust that pools the savings of a number of investors who share a
common finnacial goal. The money thus collected is then invested in capital market
instruments such as shares, debentures and other securities. The income earned through these
investments and the capital appreciations realized are shared by its unit holders in the
proportion to the number of units owned by them. Thus a Mutual Fund is the most suitable
investment for the common man as it offers an opportunity to invest in a diversified,
professionally managed basket of securities at a relatively low cost. The flow chart below
describes broadly the working of a mutual fund .

OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY


The objective of the research is to study and analyze the awareness level of investors
of mutual funds.
To measure the satisfaction level of investors regarding mutual funds.
An attempt has been made to measure various variables paying in the minds of
investors in terms of safety, liquidity, service, returns, and tax saving.
To get insight knowledge about mutual funds
Understanding the different ratios and portfolios so as to tell the distributors about
these terms, by this, managing the relationship with the distributors.
To know the mutual funds performance levels in the present market.
To analyze the comparative study between other leading mutual funds in the present
market.
To know the awareness of mutual funds among different groups of investors.

Sources of Data collection
Marketing research signally either primary or secondary.lt is the process of
systematic gathering according and analysis data from customers from the competitors
and the market.

Conclusions of the study will be produced in Executive Summary.
