! Hinduism has lots of Gods and symbols, Christianity has a couple of

symbols too. They also have their own Gods. Hinduism and Christianity are

very similar, in fact, some Hindus say that their religion has a lot in common

with Christianity. They both have only one God, but they didnʼt split him up in

the same amount of Gods. Hindus believe that God has so many hands

because he has to take care of everyone in the world. Christianity has three

parts, Jesus Christ, God and the Holy Spirit. Hindu has three hundred million

parts of God. Too many to even name in my essay, but Hindus have named

them all. They both believe in everyday life.

! These two religionʼs have the same goals which is living a good life,

being fair and going to heaven. They pray in different landscapes, Hindus

pray in the Hindu Temple and Christians go to church every Sunday, they go

to church on Sunday because that is the day Jesus Christ came back to life.

They go to church to celebrate and remember Jesus Christ and how good he

has been to his people. They have different stories about their God. There

are lots more stories that I find very interesting.

! Christianity is one of the three major monotheistic world religions.

Christians believe God created the world and interests people who inhabit it.

Hinduism is one of the worldʼs oldest religions. 1700–1100 BCE. In India it is

800 BCE.

! The Christian symbol Chi-Rho is the first symbols used by Christians. It

stands for Christ in Greek, the first two letters of the symbol and the Rho has

itʼs first letter to make the third letter of the word Christ. An other symbol from

the Christians is Flaming Chalice, At the opening of Unitarian Universalist

worship services, Lotʼs of people light a flame in a chalice. The Latin Cross is

also called the Protestant Cross and the Western Cross. It is a symbol of

Christianity even though it was used as a symbol for millennia before the

foundation of the Christian Church.

The Tau cross is named after the Hebrew alphabet's last letter X. This same

sound transliterates to the Greek letter T. As you can see, each symbol

means something and that is the same for Hinduism. The symbol for

Hinduism is called Om. It means that when ever you try something it is

powerful to the Hindus and gives luck. Om was also the first word ever

spoken. Hindus also believe that when you sit down crossed legged and
breathe out only, it is a symbol for knowledge and a fresh start. Every symbol

for every religion means something just like Hinduism and Christianity.

! Many years after the death of Jesus, The religion Christianity started

spreading in the UN, Europe, Asia and then it came to China. Christianity has

been around in China for about 4,000 years now.

The symbol below is the Hindu symbol. Called Om.

The symbol to the left is the symbol for Christianity.
