B. Motivation

Let the student sit with their learning buddy and discuss what are
the fruits do their parents or family plant and harvest

Afterwards, the teacher must call someone (student) to describe


and share in front what are their parents planted and harvested

C. Lesson Proper
Present the sentences taken from their sharing.
Read the following sentences.
1. The red apples came from our orchard.
2. We sell green and yellow mangoes.
3. We have banana. It is delicious.
4. My mother sells fresh fruits.
Let them determine the nouns and pronouns in the sentences.
Let them determine what modifies the nouns and pronouns in the
sentences.
Give the definition of the adjective.
An adjective describes a noun or a pronoun.
Present the kinds of adjectives
Kinds of Adjectives
There are three kinds of adjectives: Demonstrative, Common, and
Proper.

Demonstrative
Demonstrative adjectives are words such as this, that, these, and
those. When you see demonstrative adjectives in sentences, they will
answer the question which one.
Common Adjectives
Common adjectives are words that describe nouns.
Proper Adjectives
Proper adjectives are like proper nouns. You always capitalize proper
adjectives.
Predicate Adjectives
Predicate Adjectives follow the linking verb, but they describe the
noun.

Let the students construct their own sentences using the


adjectives provided with real objects.

D.Drills

The students should tell their experiences in class depending on


the fruit that they picked in the basket.
Let the students provide description about a certain fruit by
using the given fruit cards and let it post on the tree.
Asking them why did they choose to use the adjective in
describing the fruit.

things in a nice and proper way.
Throw their garbage (fruit peels, etc.) in the proper place
Take good care of their fruit trees.

Evaluation

Students are given worksheets and provide the correct


description of the given noun or pronoun.

In a one sheet of paper, the students must describe themselves in 45 sentences.
