This study entitled Low Cost Automated Multicast Serial Advanced Technology
Attachment (SATA) Hard Disk Drive Imaging System. Its main objective is to
conceptualize a design that will satisfy the requirements for the implementation of
a Low Cost Automated Multicast SATA HDD Imaging System.
IV
Identify the components required for the development and implementation of the
conceptualized design. Develop and implement the design using a prototype. Do
a comparative analysis of the existing Imaging System and the proposed design
in terms of cost, performance and functionality. The project was developed to
offer an alternative hard disk drive cloning method which will provide the firms
requirement at a minimum cost with same functionality and performance. In
general, Low Cost Automated Multicast Serial Advanced Technology Attachment
(SATA) Hard Disk Drive Imaging System can be implemented to increase
imaging capacity, speed up cloning, save time and low cost automation.
ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
First, we would like to express our sincere thanks, love and appreciation to
the following persons whose assistance guided the researchers in the successful
completion of the design project.
To Engr. Leni Bulan, our professor and adviser for the kindness and
untiring assistance;
To Mrs. Imelda Delos Reyes our ETEEAP Director for the support and
understanding;
To Toshiba Philippines Incorporated who supported us during the
requisition of the parts for development of the project;
And above all to Almighty God, who continuously poured his countless
blessings, guidance and wisdom.

10 SATA cable HDD duplicators. This makes them well suited for backing up
personal and business data. In the past, users looking to duplicate data on to
multiple HDDs usually had to start up the computer then use writing software
like Ghost. This means time has to be spent on learning to use the software
and then using it to copy data. Proponents answer is the SATA HDD Duplicator
series that offers fast data backup.
1.2 Features
SATA-to-SATA HDD duplicators
Support duplication of DOS OS up to Windows 8 and later versions.
User-friendly interface with viewing tool for status of hard disk drive
1.3 Specifications
Slim type desktop core i3 processor
10 SATA interfaces
17 inch LCD display
Power Supply(110-220V) w/ button control
Software upgradeable via CD/DVD/HDD/USB port
XXVII
Before Installation
Before connecting the power, verify that the modified power supply was
off. The Multicast supports 10 SATA connections blue/red cable is
connected to the SATA slots and SATA adapter is connected to the HDDs
power connector port.
