EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This project report includes the analysis of Financial Statements and analysis of market
competitors with the aim to understand the Profitability, Liquidity and Efficiency of the
company J. K Tea.
The main objectives of this Study is to evaluate the performance of the company by using
ratios as a yardstick to measure the efficiency of the company, Interpret the financial
statement so that the strength and weakness of a firm Historical performance and current
financial condition can be determined., To understand the liquidity, profitability and
efficiency position of the company during the study period, To make comparisons
between the ratios during different periods, and To offer appropriate suggestions for the
better performance of the organization .
The Chapter 1 of the project report includes the profile of the company, the nature of the
company, its product range, organization structure, market share and market position,
mode of data collection for the project. J.K Tea Estates is tea production company and
insight agency in north India .Company motive is provide best quality product by
customer orientation. J.K tea provide best quality by the use of tea cleaning, blending and
packaging Services. The research project covered all the functional areas of J.K tea Pvt.
Ltd in tea industry.
The 2nd Chapter deals comprehensively with the SWOT analysis. The analysis shows the
various opportunities, strengths, weaknesses and threats. The chapter also entails best
USP and practices and variation from classroom study. It also covered best practices/ usp
that the J.K tea Pvt. Ltd. follows in different functional area such as Marketing, HR,

Finance, inventory management, Operation Management, Logistics, use of it etc with the
variation in practices followed by the company.
The 3rd Chapter of the project explained about the data collection and Presentation
which is divided to two parts the part is data collection which contains the data collection,
the company showed their marketing, human Resource management, Finance, operation
management and technology strategy used in the organization in order to achieve in
objective, Presentation of the demographic variables of the respondents in the form of
tables and identifies the significant relationship with different variables and the suitable
selected interpretation and inference are identifies.
The 4th Chapter contains a detail description of the functional areas of the company. A
comprehensive description is given regarding the Marketing department, Human
Resources department and IT department. J.K tea engages itself in various market
research activities. The Operations department handles the questionnaire, laptops, and
other devices from field offices to the venues. The IT department looks after the software
used like Tally ERP 9 and Excel sheets.
The Chapter 5 of the project explained the summary and conclusions, the chapter
compromise of finding lesson learn and suggestion. In the first part, researcher presented
the finding, this are to be presented and supported by facts & figure in narrative form and
be called out from chapter four in the second part, researcher presented the lesson learnt
and comments on their experience about the working environment obtaining in the
company. Suggestions based on the data collection and analysis of the previous chapter.
Main suggestion given by researcher that J.K tea must offer high margin discounts and
benefit to the retailers so that they can promote more J. K tea Product.
