I.

Introduction.

We are going to represent the project based on

the Energy & Environment. In India there are
many problems related to electricity. Mainly in
villages, there are big problems due to load
shading. In this project we have designed the
railway track system in which, when train
passes on the railway track, then it creates the
mechanical energy with help of this energy we
can create the electrical energy.

Problems related to
electricity in villages

III.

In India commonly 50.5 watt energy required

per day.
Especially in villages the electricity required
per day can be calculated as follows,

Fig.01 Power calculation.

V. Dynamo.
We are all known that there are many
problems due to electricity.
Especially, due to load shading villagers life
becomes difficult.
Due to load shading villagers cannot get
drinking water.
In absence of electricity, agricultural problems
are also created.

Dynamo is a device which converts

mechanical energy into electrical energy.
Commonly windmill size dynamo which is
also used in generators can create 34.5 KW
electricity per day.
But when we use it with generator it requires
large amount of fuel to create electricity.

Status of village
electrification

There are 593732 villages in India.

In that which 497375 villages are electrified.
But 96357 villages are Un electrified today.
Now in India according to survey of year
2001, 78 million households(44%) do not have
access of electricity.

IX. Chain system & its

Design

Following figures shows how we can supply

electricity to villages.

Hence for solving the various problems related

to electricity in villages, we design the chain
system for rail track.
These mechanisms can be set for distance of
0.5m to rail track.
Below diagram shows this mechanism.

Fig.04 Electricity distribution.

Advantages:

Fig. 03. Chain mechanism

It creates electricity without any fuel.

It produces 8280 KW per day.
It supply can be produced to 4-5 villages.

Disadvantages:

In consist of a metal chain rolled on five

wheels on each side of railway track.
These wheels are connected to the shaft.
These shafts are connected to gears system and
the gears are connected to the dynamos.
When railway is passed over it, then these
wheels are rotates at very high speed and
creates produces electricity with high voltage.
This electricity can be supplied to the villages
with the help of power station and poles.
This electricity can be also used for various
purposes.

Capacity of project.

It creates 8280 KW energy per day with 10

dynamo.

Electricity supply.

Construction of this cost is high.
