Dear Signs of Support Prospect:

Thank you for your interest in the Edmonton Signarama Signs of Support program!
When we took over this business from Colin & Michelle Reid in November 2014, we were glad to hear that
part of their vision was to be able to give back to the community. They did this through the Signs of Support
program which we are excited to continue!
With this program we hope to assist non-profit and charitable organizations. We hope to replace or create
effective, affordable signage to help them achieve their mission.
You will find some simple instructions, an application, as well as individual request forms for the different
types of signage we can provide through the Signs of Support program. Below are some quick examples
and definitions of the sign types this progam offers.
Facility Signage office door markers, vinyl lettering, interior directional signage, parking signage, awards,
recognition plaques for donors, decorative banners or displays.
Event Signage signage that an organization might use for an event (eg: fund-raiser). Some examples
include: easel signs, yard signs, banners and other temporary and re-useable signage to help promote an
event or provide logistics.
Identification Signage the primary signage for your facility or building. It identifies your site and who you
are. It might be a monument sign, flat sign for side of your building or other type of major identification.
Please consider your level of need prior to applying. We have limited funding and hope to provide help to
those with the greatest need and most powerful impact. It is not our intent that organizations who already
have funding for their signage needs apply for assistance.
We encourage you to read thoroughly the application weve sent to you.

Edmonton Signarama Signs of Support Grant Program

Mission
We seek to support and strengthen local charitable organizations with donations of signage, graphics,
display, and marketing products at partial or no cost. Any organization that is eligible may submit an
application for their needs.
Eligibility
Local Non-Profit Organizations - Secular and/or Faith Based
Local Affiliates of Registered Charities
Local Non-Government Civic Organizations
Public or Catholic School Boards
(For our needs local is defined as within Edmonton City Limits)
Term
Grants must be applied for annually and are valid for the award year. Any unused grant funds are nontransferable to the following award year.
Types of Signage Requests
Applicants may apply for any or all types of grants.
EVENT - temporary signage for a fund raising or resource building event in an indoor
or outdoor environment
PHYSICAL PLANT - permanent or temporary signage for physical location of applicant. May include both
interior and exterior needs
MAIN IDENTIFICATION - permanent exterior identification of physical location of applicant organization
