TERM AID
By Erin Casson "Nano Man"
Imagine for a moment that you are sitting in the main room, the only room,
of your ten foot by ten foot concrete block house. You have no running
water, and you have to scavenge animal dung and old paper to even heat
the small place and cook. You are, in fact, considered somewhat wealthy
because you even have a solid roof over your head. And then it happens.
First you feel the thunderous vibrations underfoot, and then loud explosive
cracks, and the sounds of a cacophony of screams, shrieks, and people
crying out to God for help, the concrete of your home collapses, you are
pinned under tons of the stuff, while around you people are dead, dying,
and screaming and this scene is repeated across the entire nation.
This or something like this barely catches the feeling of what those who
went through the Haiti Earthquake of 2010 experienced a tragedy beyond
words. And yet, all of this was and is completely preventable, if we the
human family were to make use of our compassionate hearts and our
technological capabilities.
Another system, this one based on the same carbon molecule geometry, is
the INCA: Inter Nodal Connector Architecture. The INCA system is a
Universal Assembler/Universal Construction Set, any geometrical shape
can be made with it, preferably domes and arches, the strongest structures
in nature. The INCA system can be used to assemble things from the
molecular level to the visible level and larger, such
as Self-Erecting, Collapsible Tent Homes that are
impervious to Earthquakes and floods, which in their
un-collapsed state are stronger than solid structures,
and which can be deployed easily and cheaply once
mass produced. The INCA allows man to make
Three Dimensional Solid Origami, materials and
mechanisms that transmit force, conduct power, and
transmit information, which are flexible, light, and
super strong.
