You have started your job as an intern in company A. Your


role as an intern is to support administrative work to two
group leaders. As an intern, you find it difficult to deal with
two group leaders with two different types of leadership
styles. Group leader X tends to lead his group in a
transactional way, while group leader Y leads his group in
a transformational style. You realize that the ways they
manage, treat and motivate their subordinates, including
yourself are different as well.
Write down your own answer for the required questions
about leadership styles, approaches to management and
motivation theories.
