Event & Program Cards


This appendix contains any new Event cards for your
cast. Permission is given to photocopy these pages to
enable you to make your own cards.

Making your cards

If you are making your own cards then take your


photocopied or printed PDF pages and glue them to
a thin sheet of card available from most art and craft
shops. Coloured card is often available if you want to
differentiate between your two decks. Cut or scalpel
them out using the grey border lines as a guide.

Cone 8" Template

S.H.I.V.A. uses a combination of pseudo-religious


indoctrination and intense physical brutalisation to create
minions whose entire will is given over to the Guru. All of
your Extras gain the Fanatic and Invulnerable (1) special
effects for this turn only.
Note: Models who already have the Invulnerable special
effect get to add +1 to this effects rating for the turn.

Sleepers are ordinary individuals pre-programmed with


specific instructions by S.H.I.V.A., to be activated when the
time is right. Choose one opposing Extra. This model now
counts as one of your cast members until the end of the
episode.

Note: This model counts as having the S.H.I.V.A. cast


special effect.

Items used by opponents of UR are


liable to suddenly jam in the middle of
a battle, thanks to specially designed
components manufactured by UR
subsidiaries. Once per game, you may
cancel the effects of one gadget just
played if you can exceed the cards
rating on 2D6.

S.H.I.V.A. is adept at striking opponents from


unexpected directions, causing the maximum
possible disruption to their plans. You can
choose not to deploy up to 25% of your
models during Set Up. In the End Phase of
each turn, roll 1D6. On the roll of 4+ you can
place these models within 2 of any neutral
table edge, as long as they are not within 2 of
any opposing models.

Argonaut Casts Only


The deployment of this deadly, dense gas often forms
a first strike for the Argonauts as it decimates living
forces. Place the centre of the large blast template
within 6 of the model using this Gadget; the template
will scatter on the 1D6 roll of 12. All non-Mechanoid
models beneath or moving through the template
suffer an automatic Str 5 hit which ignores Body
Armour. The template is removed in the End Phase.

Black Smoke

Programmed models gain +1 Def but


count their Move as half (round up).

Program: Protect

Place the large blast template anywhere on the


table, and specify any number of enemy models
fully or partially under that template as targets.
Programmed models cannot make ranged attacks
against these target models but any melee damage
inflicted on these targets by a programmed model
causes the target model to gain the Captured status
instead. Once targeted, models can move anywhere
on the table and still be affected by this program.

Tokens
Program tokens
Below is a set of Program tokens for you to use when
playing with Argonaut Casts.

Making your tokens

Follow a similar process to the cards for the tokens.


The Argonaut cog logo is provided as a suitable
reverse for the tokens for the more creative amongst
you. These are available from the Crooked Dice
website.

The tokens are 25mm in diameter, the same


dimensions as a standard slottabase, so you could
use this as a guide - or glue them directly to an
upturned base to make more robust tokens. You could
even paint the edges to match the tokens.
If this seems a bit intimidating, then simply use other
tokens available from many game stores or purchase
a deluxe set from the Crooked Dice webstore.
