Lynch pressed on voting laws at confirmation hearing


During the Wednesday afternoon session of Loretta Lynchs confirmation hearing,
Sen. Thom Tillis, R-N.C., pressed the attorney general nominee over her position on
voting lawsand at one point tried to show shed contradicted herself. Mike Sacks,

First steps suggested to start fixing beleaguered election system
With an upgrade to its outdated equipment years away, Santa Clara County officials
suggested Wednesday taking steps now to remedy the beleaguered election system
