We celebrate our third year of Park Avenue Dance Company's quarterly eNews and
thank you for your contributions! We will keep you informed of events, classes,
special workshops and performances. We appreciate your support of our
organization. Please pass eNews on to friends, family, and lovers of dance.
I didn't dance during my first two years of college. I really missed it so I started taking
Contemporary classes at Park Avenue Dance during the summer of 2008.
Where and when you got your start dancing? I started dancing at Towson University's
Children's Dance Division in Towson, MD when I was in Middle School.
Who/what inspired you to start dancing? I had to take a dance class as school called
Dance from Around the World and really enjoyed it.
Why do you dance? What do you get out of it? Dancing makes me feel more alive!
Especially performing.
What is your best Park Avenue Dance Company memory? I enjoyed performing at the
George Eastman House.
Who would you love to study/perform with? I took classes at Garth Fagan during my
freshman year and always thought it would be a fun company to perform with.
What is your favorite Park Avenue Dance Company dance? Ancora Aflitta. Meredith's
choreography is beautiful!
Where do you see yourself heading in the future with Park Avenue Dance Company? I
hope that the opportunity I've been given to dance with the talented women in the company
will help me to improve as a dancer.
