This is a workshop for the members of your congregation and community who JUST WANT TO LEARN TO
PLAY THE PIANO.

They Will Learn:

HOW TO CREATE MAJOR CHORDS
HOW TO DEVELOP RHYTHM IN THEIR BODY
WHICH CHORDS MAKE UP A KEY
HOW TO MATCH CHORDS TO THE MELODIES OF SONGS
HOW TO PLAY THEIR FAVORITE PRAISE & WORSHIP SONGS BY EAR
The minimum student requirement is 10, and there is no upper limit. After 20 students are registered, you will
receive a selected gift for hosting the event.
The student tuition is whatever the students can afford. (The value is $99.97). All online registered
students will receive a Quick Start Piano-By-Ear digital download, (a $47 value). This will allow them to
prepare before the workshop and maximize the results.
The location of the workshop needs to be in a room with moveable chairs, so that we can put keyboards where
we need to. Students dont need to bring a keyboard, but it is helpful to them if they do. The keyboard should
be one that works with batteries, or they will need to bring an extension cord for power.
This packet includes a bulletin insert that can be used to gather a list of those who are interested in your area.
Otherwise, you can just direct those who are interested to go to the website and REGISTER. Please direct
those interested in participating to register online at www.piano-by-ear.com. They will see your city, date, and
location on our schedule and will select that option when they register.
We ask that you secure room and board for the instructor, traveling from Norfolk, VA (ORF). Residing in
someones home is acceptable. You will need to handle the reservations and payment of the airfare for the
instructor. You will also be responsible for transportation from the airport and movement around town during
the instructors stay, as well as his return trip to the airport.

A limited number of products will be available for the students to purchase at the workshop. We ask that you
provide 2 people to assist at a table for those purchases. They will be trained by the Instructor 30 minutes
before the Workshop, when the table is being set up. Please be prepared to supply the names of these
volunteers at the time of the Workshop Confirmation Call. At that time, we will confirm all of the travel
information.

David Lawrence is a graduate of the highly accredited Oral Roberts University with a degree in
Music, Theology, and minor in Psychology. Davids postgraduate studies include Business
Management, Leadership Development, Audio and Video Recording, from Georgia State
University, Jersey City State College, the International Worship Institute and Recording Institute of
America. Rev. Lawrence has recently completed his Masters of Organizational Leadership from
Regent University. His unique and practical approach to teaching keyboard is productively
developing a legacy of changing the way the world learns music.
For over 25 years, David has been professionally conducting piano workshops and seminars
throughout the United States, Canada, South America, the Caribbean, Southeast Asia, and England.
During that period, he has fashioned a method that has enabled thousands to play the piano in a short
time. Due to its rapid results, his inspirational teaching style ignites passion and creates vision in
students. While he does not oppose the traditional method of reading and writing music, David
strongly believes that while it is natural to learn to speak before you learn to read and write, so it is
a more natural process to learn to play by ear before you learn to read and write music! In an
effort to help people who desire to learn to play quickly for personal pleasure, church work,
songwriting, etc., he developed the Rapid Piano Learning System, so that highly motivated students
