MUSLIMS/ISLAM IN NIGERIA AT THE CROSS ROAD

Islam means peace acquired by submitting to the will of Allah.

Muslims on the other hand are peace loving people and the peaceful
coexistence with Christians and Jews in particular for over thousand
years in Spain and Arab lands (during the golden ages of Islam and
now) in particular and elsewhere is enough testimony to downplay all
this media rhetoric has incriminate Islam and Muslims at large,
making Muslims living now, the toughest and most difficult moments
in their lives.

Thanks to a brainwashed or defiled Umar Farouk, Nigeria is now on

terrorist nation watch list. I believe is an insult on Nigerian people
especially Muslims since they are the most affected and Africa as a
whole. If there should be any country on the watch list of USA, it
should be USA itself because all the world renowned and famous act
of terrorism have been carried out by USA.

Being on that terrorist nation itself i.e. USA watch list means that,
people could easily be manipulated within Nigeria to constantly bring
about uprising which would give USA more control over the internal
affairs of Nigeria, just to justify that there were correct in adding
Nigeria to their watch list though most of the terrorism acts in the
recorded history of the world for the past 400 hundred years have
been spearheaded by USA, but they never would call any of those
dastardly acts, terrorism. There is gonna be more brainwashed
/defiled people claiming to come from Nigeria and claiming to be
master minders of some terrorist acts...

How many investors would like to invest in a nation with a lot of

internal wrangling let alone terrorism when that nation is a typical
black African country..?

Deep down I don’t believe in what USA is saying about the act of
Umar Farouk when you consider the rate at which new scanners
were brought in the market for sale to USA Government and other
countries, but Allah is the disposer of all affairs and that’s why there
should be judgment day to unearth all secret dealings & doings.
As Allah said in the Qur’an:

The Day when their tongues, their hands and their feet will testify
against them about all that they did. [And a time will come when
methods of investigation will become far advanced]….

On that Day God will pay them their just due, and they will come to
know that God! He is the Manifest truth…Qur’an… 24:24-25...

Nigeria I believe is a key a nation to the development of West Africa

& Africa as a whole.

Unfortunately what do we see, political or ideological confrontations,

argument or wars always end into religious wars forgetting the
injunction of Allah in the Qur’an which Allah says that:

On that account, We decreed to the Children of Israel that whoever

kills a human being, unless it be for murder or bloody crimes on the
earth, it would be as if he killed all mankind. And whoever saves one
life it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind. And Our
messengers came to them with evident truth, yet, even after this,
many of them continue to commit excesses in the land….Qur’an..
5:32….

For the fact that the name of children of Israel’s name was explicitly
mentioned does not mean is meant for them alone but is meant for all
nation and humanity.

What binds us as humans far outweighs what divides us. First and
foremost we all must consider that we are coming from one source
that is Allah and that is enough to make us love one another
unconditionally. We may have our religious, political or ideological
persuasions, but that should not be a dividing factor but rather a
unifying & learning factor……

Consider a world where all of us are blacks, one religion, one culture,
etc. how would be the state of the world be? I will answer you, it
would be the most boring place to be because there would no be
anything to learn from anyone since we are all the same and no
motivating factor to learn culture, but diversity always should bring
maturity in us and not childishness as we mostly portray in our
society

Due to this injunction, Allah said in the Noble Qur’an that:

O Mankind! We have created you male and female, and have made
you nations and tribes so that you might (affectionately) come to
know one another. Surely, the most honored among you, in the sight
of God, is the one who is best in conduct. God is Knower, Aware…
Qur’an…49:13…

He also said:

(Although this message has been sent down by the Almighty) there is
absolutely no compulsion or coercion in Religion. Whoever rejects
false gods (such as the clergy, human ‘authorities’) and attains
conviction in God, has grasped the Unbreakable Support. God is
Hearer, Knower…Qur’an… 2:256...

The basic tenet of Islam is having a good intention and backing it with
equally good action, bur incidentally that’s not what we see among
some of our brainwashed or defiled youth. May Allah make it easy for
us all to understand and implement the deen as it is supposed to be
understood and practiced.

Fanaticism does not exist in Islam, and Islam is against those who
are fanatics. The tradition of Islam is meant to be simple, easy to be
applied, realistic and practical. Is lam is built on glad tidings rather
than warnings.

Muslims are not vocals, radicals, reactionaries, fanatics and fascists.

On the other hand, they are not passive, they are not to be
intimidated, dormant, nor are they to accept any injustice inflicted on
them or any other human being. They are not to accept extreme
spiritual involvement or extreme material indulgence. They are
appointed to be a middle nation. That’s why Allah said in the noble
Qur’an that:
Thus We have made you a Balanced Community that you might be
witnesses to all mankind, and the messenger a witness over
yourselves. It is We Who have appointed the Direction that you have
now adopted (O Messenger!) in order to distinguish him who follows
the messenger, from him who turns about on his heels. In fact, it has
been a momentous change except for those who follow God’s
guidance. It is never God’s purpose to let your faith go to waste. God
is Compassionate and Merciful to all people…Qur’an…2:143…

My little advice for myself and my Muslim youth is to be weary of the

plot of the west in provoking us psychologically which they know
would gear us into doing things that would make Muslim and Islam in
general look bad in the eyes of the world.

Other people throughout history have been involved in terrorist acts

but hardly do you hear the media address them with their faith except
when the person is a Muslim.

Their intention is very clear, that’s why Allah told us before hand that:

They aim to put out God’s light with their mouths (utterances), but
God has willed to spread His light in all its fullness, however hateful
this may be to the deniers. He is the One Who has sent forth His
messenger with the guidance, and the Religion of truth, that He may
make it prevail over all religions (other systems of life) however
hateful this may be to those who ascribe partners to Him…Qur’an…
61:8-9…

If the religion of Islam had not been under the care and protection of
the Owner being Allah subhana wata Allah, I bet you it would have
been an obsolete religion by now.

As journalist the ethics of journalism should be held or implemented

to the letter but what we see in our society is just shear conspiracy
against the common existence of Islam. No doubt people have written
books clamoring for a clash of civilization which is the west against
the Muslim doing away with the beauty and peaceful coexistence
between the Muslims and the west giving birth to European
renaissance.
Now the media portrays Islam and Muslims as backward and war
mongering people. They still have the guts to repeat one or the
greatest lie in history that Islam was spread by the sword forgetting
that Islam/Muslims ruled Spain and India for more than six (6)
hundred years each.

How many years would Muslims have needed to turn the whole of
Spain and India into Muslims?

Every violation of truth is not only a sort of suicide in the liar, but is a
stab at the health of human society.

The reply to those who implies that Islam was spread by the sword is
best given by De Lacy O’Leary:

“History makes it clear however, that the legend of fanatical Muslims

sweeping through the world and forcing Islam at the point of the
sword upon conquered races is one of the most fantastically absurd
myth that historians have ever repeated.”

...THINK ABOUT IT FOR A MOMENT IF YOU DARE....

STILL, LET THERE BE PEACE IN NIGERIA FOR THE

DEVELOPMENT OF WEST AFRICA AND AFRICA AS A WHOLE IF
YOU REALLY KNOW THE IMPORTANCE OF NIGERIA.....
