JOB TRAINING IN
CHEVRON INDOASIA
BUSINESS UNIT

CHAPTER I
PREFACE

I.1 BACKGROUND
The innovations of technology have grown rapidly in early
third millennium, so it is necessary to balance the
professionalism which is something undergraduate student must
have. It means, in real industry, an engineer must have good
attitude, and could use time effectively to make a decision for
solving problems. In addition, an undergraduate student should
improve his skill and have a good social communication with
others. Social and culture environment and lifestyle of
professional workers must be understood, because things we
learned and studied in University sometimes are not the same
with the real fact we will find in the field.
Beside, with job-training, a college student can get a
chance to observe, compare, and applied theories they have got
in University. Also, they could have more knowledge, and help to
solve a problem in industry. In the other hand, for a company,
job-training could be an event to search for new human
resources and an event to evaluate the quality of undergraduate
student.
Based on that thinking, I want to apply a job-training
program to your company, and I hope that the company would
accept my proposal. I am sure that my knowledge could be
applied in this company.

I.2 PURPOSES
