VOLUNTEER AND WORK EXPERIENCE


2/2014 Present: Volunteer, Refugee Services of Texas

Trained as a general volunteer, specialized in Job Language training program. Work individually with refugees to
train them on the use of English in the workplace, council them on career searches and interviews.

9/2012 11/2012: Election Judge, St. Marys County Board of Elections

Selected, trained, and served as an election judge for the 2012 Presidential Election for the St. Marys County
Board of Elections. Trained on use of polling machines, voter assistance, and voting protocol.

7/2012: Teacher, Ritinjali School, Gurgaon, Haryana, India

Instructed students from the ages of 3-14 in English and Mathematics at a slum school run by a nonprofit in a
suburb of New Delhi. In addition, developed activities for coursework and interviewed students.

1/2012 7/2012: Collection Drive Coordinator, Leonardtown High School & Ritinjali School

Organized the timeline, collection, and distribution of donated school supplies for the students of the Ritinjali
School in Gurgaon, India. Coordinated the transportation of 100 lbs. of donated supplies from the U.S. to India.

8/2011 8/2012: Sales Associate, Traditions of Loveville

Performed duties in sales, customer service, inventory, and purchase orders at design boutique.
