The article talks about how individualism is reflected in the American Dream and the way
people imagine their American Dream. The article was used in the essay to show the
social effect on the American Dream and the shift of American Dream. Because different
people have different view of their own American Dream, and their different opinions
shape the American Dream.

The article was written to show after the 2008 recession the concept of American Dream
before 2008 is said to be dying. This article was used in the essay to show the general
idea of American Dream being reshaped after the effects of 2008 Recession. This is a
good article because it talked about how after millions of people lost their jobs they begin
to think coming to American was a good idea or not after all.

recession problem, and it gives a new idea that the recession is not caused because the
economy was bad. The economy went bad because of bad political decisions, so this
article gives people a new perspective on how to look at the recession.

This article showed the reason of rich becoming richer and the poor becoming poorer. It
said that this is because of how poor people were not given the chance to fight back
because the gap between these two group of people becomes wider every single year.
Education plays a big role reflecting the gap among these people.

This article talks about how there is still a separation today among people in the United
States. This article was used in the essay because it covers the separation between wealth,
ethnicity and it talks about the three classes in the United States. In the essay, this article
was used to show the social effect that influenced the American Dream.
