LIKE, LOVE, HATE + -ing form

When we want to express our opinion or talk about our tastes,


likes and dislikes, we use this construction.

I love reading.
We really like playing basketball
She doesnt mind eating vegetables.
I hate swimming

We use adverbs of frequency:


- Before the main verb BUT after the verb to be: I usually
play football / I am always late.
- Between the auxiliary verb and main verb in negative
sentences: He doesnt often play tennis.
- After the subject in interrogative sentences: Does she
always drinks coke?
