INSTRUCTIONS ON USING THIS WILL UNDER THE FREEWILLTM SERVICES:

1) The person who makes the Will is called a testator (for a male) and testatrix (for a female).
2) Specific information is required for places marked by square brackets. These square brackets
should be removed when finalising the document.
3) This will is only for use by persons who are domiciled in Singapore
4) The signing of the Will needs to be witnessed by two witnesses who are NOT beneficiaries under
the will. We also advised that these witnesses should also NOT be executor named under the
Will. Both witnesses must be present at the SAME TIME when you sign the will. It is advisable
for them to sign immediately after you have signed the Will and in the presence of each other
together with you. If you have any doubt on the manner of signing the Will, we strongly advise

5) This Will is not applicable if there is any gift to be made to minor (under 21 years old) or the
testator/testatrix has any children who are minors.
6) You will not be able to effect distribution of CPF monies under a Will and a nomination needs to
be make under a CPF form.
7) Insurance policy proceeds which are subject to Section 73 of the Conveyancing and Law of
Property Act will not form part of your estate for distribution under the Will
