What is an ERP?
Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERPs) integrate all data and processes of an organization into a unified system. A
key ingredient of most ERP systems is the use of a unified database to store data for the various system modules.
ERP systems typically handle the manufacturing, inventory, shipping, invoicing, and accounting for a company. Enterprise
Resource Planning or ERP software can aid in the control of many business activities, like sales, marketing, delivery, billing,
production, inventory management, quality management, and human resources management.
The introduction of an ERP system to replace two or more independent applications eliminates the need for external
interfaces previously required between systems, and provides additional benefits that range from standardization and lower
maintenance (one system instead of two or more) to easier and/or greater reporting capabilities (as all data is typically kept in
one database).

textile industry especially Spinning & Weaving. This software integrates all the
departments for continuous process improvement at each stage. Through this
product, an attempt has been made to bridge the existing gap between Textile
Industries & Information Technology.

The Production module works between the Marketing and the Despatch Department.
After getting the work order from the Marketing Department production planning will be
made where they check for the raw material availability, man power and machine
availability. Hence according to the plan they start producing the items.

E Each process consists of the Man power allotment, Count Change & Production
E With the Man Power Allotment the employee details for a particular shift and the allotted machines can be known
at any time. This also includes the contract employees details for production and non production purpose
E Count Change Details tells the date wise history of the Mixing or Count running in a particular machine and also
the target production which helps to calculate the employees efficiency.
E Production takes all these data as input and stores the production quantity like Lap Weight, Hank Reading,
Spindles, Drums, Cheese, Doff, Waste details etc., Machine wise stoppage details section can be used to enter
the stoppage time and stoppage reason.

Both the raw material and the finished products are identified by unique name. With this name user can easily understand the
history of the product i.e. from mixing stage to packing stage.
Separate shift wise production entry screens for different stages where the user stores Count Details, Hank Reading, Stoppage
Details, Waste Details, etc.,
Verification of data in each shift through which the user can have a comparison report showing the target and achieved production
in each department, Missing machines or frames in each stage.
Estimating the consumption of resources per unit of output in case of a usual mode of work, overtime, subcontracts, maintaining
stock, reserve orders, etc.;
The reports like daily production abstract, employee allocation, consolidated reports, stoppage analysis, performance abstract,
worker's performance, Idle & production loss, analysis reports, monthly reports, etc., will be generated.
Graphical representation of data from which the user can know the production loss, count wise production, machine wise
production, etc.,
Weaving
Sizing
E Yarn prepared for weaving by sizing it. Beams sent to sizing units
and received from and out standing beams and stocks are
maintained in this module.
E Reports like Yarn Rate list, Daily Stock, Beam Pick up & Rewind,
Outstanding-Un sized issue Weight Missing, Beam Pending,
Beam Not Entry and Rewinding-Issue & Received will be
generated.
Production
E This module covers the process of Doffing, Weaver schedule, Loom Reading, Stoppage details, etc,
E Reports include Doffing List, Machine Performance, Labour Performance, Sort Abstract, Weaver Abstract,
Utilization and Yearly Production.

b) Inventory
E Inventory can control storage and trace receipt/issue history of any inventory
items from raw materials to finished goods.
E Accuracy of inventory management can improve efficiency of storage space,
precision of quality control.
E Characteristics and Classification allow users to set up inventory classification
such as required inspection, its results and judgment, and transportation.
E Raw Material is designed for purchasing of production resources. Its unique
item definition allows you to purchase materials from multiple vendors and

c) Sales Management
E The Sales Management Module is intended to manage material flows in the process of executing the sales/work
order. Among the multitude of tasks of distribution logistics, the Sales Management Module will:
E generate sales supporting documents which includes Work Order, Invoice, Receipts, Shipping, Exercise/VAT, etc.,
E obtaining various sales and collection reports like Convention Challan, Personal Ledger Account, LR Entry, Sales
E Annexure, Conversion Annexure, Account Receivables, Pending Contract, Sales Journal, etc.,
d) Finance
E This module contains complete functionality required for any Accounting Department right from vouchers to the
Balance Sheet and bridges between Sales, Inventory, Production and HR modules.
E This module automates the pay process by gathering data of employee time and attendance, calculating various
deductions and taxes to generate pay slip.
