National Rail have yellow lines

which are a couple of metres
away from the actual tracks
themselves. These yellow lines
are recommended for those
travelling by train to keep them
away from moving trains

Ensure that we take extra

care during busy times of the
day in London, especially rush
hour when thousands of
people travel home. We
should try and stand away
from crowds in the
underground and if the trains
are busy, wait for the next
train when there will be less
people getting on

Theft

Pickpockets are always roaming

the undergrounds trying to get a
hold of expensive gadgets. To
ensure that we don't become
victims of theft, we must keep
all of our belongings together. It
may be more safe if we had all
of the equipment in a secured
container and ensure that it is
never left unattended

When walking near busy roads,

our crew must walk on pathways
in the correct lane to ensure
that we are away from traffic
and cyclists. London is renowned
for heavy traffic and so we must
take extra care when travelling
from each destination

Making sure that we stand a few

metres away from the water.
Usually there are fences
designed to prevent anyone
from falling into the river but if
there aren't any, we must stand
away from the edge

buoyancy aids are available if
we are near the Thames. Also
having the coastguards
number would be a good idea
incase someone did fall into
the water. Especially at this
time of year, it is very cold
and so it may be worth
filming near somewhere
where insulated sheets are
readily available to limit the
risk of someone getting
hypothermia. These can be
found in chemists such as
boots

We must take coats and warm

clothing if it does start to rain
in London. We will be mainly
filming outside and so it would
be beneficial to have clothing
suitable to withstand wet
