Rectors Message
It is a day for celebration for International Islamic
University Islamabad as history has been made
on the occasion of launch of International Islamic
University Islamabad (IIUI) Schools.
One of the important goals of International
Islamic University Islamabad is to 'study and
interpret the teachings of Islam in the context of
the intellectual and scientific progress of the
modern world' and the creation of IIUI Schools
will give us an opportunity to pay tribute to the
wealth of knowledge that comes with this vision
thereby helping to translate it in action.
At the basic early childhood, primary and
secondary levels IIUI Schools will assist in
creating high achievers with an advanced level
of independent thinking, impeccable character
and remarkable confidence in line with the
teachings and norms taught by Islam. This
initiative is one of a kind ever executed by a
University and I would like to express my faith
that we will go on to shape, manage and nurture

Schools in Pakistan are categorized under two
headings; Public and Private schools. The ever
increasing population brings about a dire need
for educational institutions. The public sector
schools being overcrowded and a majority
lacking resources, the population resorts to
Private schooling for their children. Focus on
modernization and inculcating western values
causes apprehensions in parents as they admit
their future generations in available private
education providers. Parents strongly feel the
lack of a strong value base but desire the best
available education in terms of quality. 'IIUI
Schools' offer international standard systems
entrenched within a strong value base makes it
the first choice of Parents.

IIUI Schools Quality Assurance

School Self Evaluation and Inspections
Many factors combine to make every IIUI school unique. School Inspections are carried
out to look at some basic characteristics of effective schools.
1.

IIUI authorities will conduct Inspections once in one School Academic Year in
Second Term.
2. The inspections will take place for 3 full working days, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm
3. Heads of schools will be required to furnish all information at the request of
Inspecting authority
4. Prior to the Inspections Schools will be provided with formats to conduct self
evaluations and Heads of school will provide these formats to Inspecting Authorities
for confirmation.
5. Each School will be assessed as an individual entity and not in comparison with
other IIUI Schools
6. The Evaluation will not be Grade based, but constructive remarks will be offered for
general school improvement.
7. Class observation will be conducted according to prescribed system and students,
teachers and parents interviewed with consent of the management.
8. Evaluation criteria will be shared with heads of schools and will be based on the
following determinants of Excellent Schools identified by research:
